I am thinking about selling my mace but I am not totally sure I want to...I am open to reasonable offers....please don't get mad if I decline...
edit......lets say 350 to start the selling process.......edit.......a fellow member informed me that I should list anything wrong with the cue....No dings but the bottom of the butt ring has some minot dings from the floors.

I personally don't understand this type of sales approach. You posted the cue so that means you want to sell it right? You will save yourself and those who are interested a bunch of time if you cut out all the guess work and just set a price to sell the cue.

Either way, good luck with the sale buddy.

I see that you are new to this forum, so I will try to help you out here. First this is not Ebay, it is best if you wish to sell an item to list the price you are requesting, and then to also say you are open to fair offers. By starting a thread in this manner many people will not take you seriously, and many may think you are wasting thier time.

you all are right.....I was thinking about getting rick to make me a custom mace but Now I'm not so sure.....I don't mean to piss anyone off and I'm sorry if you feel that way. I made a coment in another thread and got a tide of responses and wanted to see what I could bring for it... However this cue is a very nice cue and comes with two shafts....and again no offense and sorry if it pisses people off

This is not really all that bad. I have several cues that are not on the market for sale but if I was to get the right offer (and I dont mean something outrageous) I would sell them. I have people ask me sometimes about a cue I have or a cue im playing with and if it is for sale and I tell them sure I would sell it to you but im not trying to sell it. I took a nice Richard Harris cue to the DCC and was going to trade or sell it. A guy who I have delt with before on some cheap cues looks at it and says ill give you $700 for it. I was asking $1250 and merely told him that I was not some busted pool player trying to hock ther cue and that I had offers of $1000 already. His reply was " well im telling you ill give you $700 right now, and im someone that has bought cues from you before". My question is, does selling someone a couple cues for a couple hundred dollars ( which he got a great deal on ) obligate me to knock off almost $600 on a nice custom cue.............I think not.

No worries buddy. Your not pissing anyone off. We're just trying to offer some friendly advice to help sell your cue.

Hers's a good way to do it. You could title the thread easy like this.
Taking offers on Mace cue.
Lots of people on here know what cues are worth and what they are going for and most of the time you will get a reasonible offer. Let it go for a while and if you get a good offer take it if not then no big deal.

You are either going to get your feelings hurt or someone is going to offer to much( is what I think you want) so what is to be gained? I had a couple of cues that I didn't list the price,but there was a very good reason. They were on consignment and the cuemaker didn't want me to list what I was able to sell them for because it was a very good deal. I almost always list a price and take offers.

look I am not trying to make a fuss....as stake horse stated....I'm not a broke pool player trying to get rid of this cue. I am not trying to sell it but I am open to offers. I am debating on getting another one made. I had a lot of interest in this cue and I want to see if people really want to buy it or try to steal it because they think I need money.....If I don't sell it( probably better for my wallet) I will still have imo one of the best jump break cues on the market.....if anyone is interested u can pm me...thanks

There's deals, and there's stupidity.
I've never seen stupidity in any of your posts in the past, so hope you didn't break that trend!
I've had alot of people over the years try to get me to drop down on a cue that I didn't care if I sold or not.
N10Spool tried to talk me out of a higher end cue about 16 years ago at tournament....lol I still had it when I left, and sold it less than a month later without dropping the price any.
14 years later, Craig and I remembered where me met and how, and started doing tables together.lol And he's still mad at me over that cue.:D

As for the Mace, they are great cues, and knowing this forum, someone out there will probably see this over the weekend and send you a pm.
Nice looking maple, whether you sell it or keep it, somebody should really enjoy it!

yep. i really prefer it when people just come out and ask what they want for the cue. it wouldn't even be bad it he said he wanted 1k for the cue. after all it is his cue and if that's what it would take to pry it out of his hands so be it. at the very least it'll just give potential buyers an idea where to start their offers/counteroffers

If you want to sell it, then put a price on it you will accept and see if you find a buyer.

Actually I dont have the cue. I ended up trading it to a guy I know at the DCC and got a way better deal. It never hurts to wait a little while because a better deal might come along.
