$50? In Cali?

That's equal to the hourly minimum wage rate out there, right?

These spots won't last long!

At fifty bucks you can't go wrong.

I'm just curious if either Dennis or Carlo are known to be a good instructor. Needless to say, some pros aren't and by that I mean some pros REALLY aren't.

Either way definitely worth the $50.

I agree that it is worth $50 just for the fun of it...even if you DON'T learn ANYTHING.

But, like you, I wonder what their teaching methods are and HOW WELL they are ABLE to COMMUNICATE that information to the people they are teaching.

I'm NOT talking about their speaking skill in either English or Tagalog...I'm talking about KNOWING HOW TO TEACH?

I have heard SVB try to explain things NUMEROUS times and MOST of the times I am MORE CONFUSED after I heard him trying to explain it. I learned MORE from him by just watching him. He KNEW how to do EVERYTHING, but he had a HARD time explaining ANYTHING.

Whatever the case, I would jump on this in a minute if it was being held in Hawaii.

If pros want to make some extra pocket (no pun intended) money, they should ALL be doing something like this instead of playing pocket-pool in between the times of tournaments and gambling matches or a real job.

Hope they work out well and make TONS of money teaching people, as long as the people are satisfied and entertained.

BTW...I think I still have some Philippine pesos stashed somewhere that I brought back with me when I moved out of the Philippines in 1982. Will they take pesos or do I have to convert it first? LOL. Just kidding. I still have some pesos but I don't know if I have $50 worth. Do they take credit? You KNOW us pool players like to hold on to our cash.

Dennis happens to be an excellent instructor. He actually surprised me at his first clinic last year with his ability to spot a weakness in a player's game and help them make the necessary adjustment. I know the guys who came last year were thrilled. Carlo is there not so much as an instructor but in a supporting role. He will be shooting some shots and showing a few tricks of his own. He's also a pretty cool guy to hang with and I know everyone will want photos with both these guys.

We are pretty well booked up now and we may add a second clinic the next day, Feb. 9, if demand is great enough.

One thing I like about Dennis, is that with his limited vocabulary he explains everything in the simplest terms possible. He never seems to have any problem getting his point across the first time either! Once again, the participants at his first seminar last year raved about him to me afterwards. Dennis takes everything he does seriously. This is not just a lark for him to make some pocket money. He absolutely loves to help players with their game!
