Hope all is well and the Windy City was a huge success.

There was an English guy that I occasionally played in Miscues when Tom and Karen Tallent owned the place. He always came in with a one piece house cue with a skinny shaft and the slightest piece of leather for a tip. Played real good. Was told he was sent back to england because his visa expired.sixpack said:No, it was definitely not the American Steve Knight. I knew him very well. There was a player in Co. Springs for a year or two who we called English Steve and he played on par with Bill Meacham. Then he left again.

FWIW, I gave em the exit 8 and busted em at Sticks, and never saw em in the springs after that, he didn't know his way around the 9' pocket tables.sixpack said:No, it was definitely not the American Steve Knight. He rab around the table and was incredibly funny. Shot as straight as a rifle and fired em all.
Anyone wanting to hear an incredibly funny story about him PM Me because i would get barred for this one.
