For those that missed the fun-filled drama that happened much earlier this year: http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=265400

I just got the cue back in my hands...and it's back to 100%. Murray even took it a couple steps further, and tweaked the weight for me (it's now 19.25oz), and put a custom engraved bolt under the bumper (for positive I.D. and such).

My standard caveat applies - MY PICTURES SUCK. But you get the idea. The brown phenolic is darker than what my photos show. Damned flash.... :o

The cue is perfect again...as it should be.

Simple elegance! Love this cue, and I know it plays great.
Glad you have it, and thanks for sharing!

Murray is a great guy as well as cuemaker! I gotta get on that list again! Congrats on getting her back better than NEW!

I am so glad to finally see this cue set right.

As soon as I saw it I recognized it from the earlier thread.

Definitely a classy cue that deserved to be set right.

Now...if you sell it again we'll have to take up two collections...one to get it back....and the second to get your head examined.

Enjoy it, and thank you for showing it off.

Awesome cue!! There's saying about Tucker cues i dont know if you have heard it before but here it is: Only a Dumb ****er sells his Tucker.. Thats from one Tucker owner to other. Enjoy the cue and play the hell out of it.

I missed all of the events in February. I was traveling outside the US at the time. I saw my AZB name mentioned in post #54 saying that I tried the cue. I confirm that I did hit a rack or two of balls with the cue and considered buying it at the time. It was just too light weight for me. I liked it so much that I bought a different TCW cue a short while later. The cue was exactly as described in post #54. Everything was solid. No dings in the cue. Slight scratching on the joint that looked like it might have been related to the case it was kept in (all very thin and shallow running along the axis of the cue). The scratches did not appear to come from obuse. The weight was the only factor that kept me from buying the cue.

I am pleased that it has been returned to new, playable condition.

Best regards,
Greg

Yes, I do remember all that. Cue came out AMAZING and back to It's former glory. The thing that still stands out the most to me is that Murray stepped up to the plate ASAP and without hesitation just simply said "Send it to Me" ! Not many cue makers in the business that would go out of their way like that. These are the stories I like, ones with a happy ending and two thumbs UP :thumbup:

I want to buy you and Murray a drink. Congratzzzzzzz, on getting your baby back. It looks incredible. Murray is a great man. Rod.
