Hey Jenny....I never met you personally but when Keith was staying round New Orleans area I put him in the box several times...Might I add we batted 1000...never booked a loser with him...the most memorable was in Baton Rouge when he played James Waldon with just the breaks....everybody in the joint thought we had a bad bet...it was only a 4 ahead set for a thousand 1 pocket but it was something to see...they went back in forth for awhile then James got on hill & ran out hill game and hit a combo 1 inch too short that would have won the set and Keith runs that game & starts nailing the break & hitting James with 8 & outs & mighta got the money with 7 in a row...also took him to lafayette to try and play chris miller but he wouldn't play without the 6,8 & last 4....i thought it was out of line but Somebody from new orleans took him back the very next night and he outrun the nuts...He always got a friend down here in cajunland...peace...Troy
Hey, Troy, what's going on? Man, you look huge in that picture, compared to when I saw you last. You must be working out, and life must be treating you good! I've gained some weight myself, since you and I were on our missions. LOL. I weigh about 180 now.
I haven't been playing much pool. I've been playing a lot of online poker, which is a tough way to go as you probably know, but there's a lot of money in it if you can get lucky. And playing online poker, you really have to get lucky. You make one mistake, and it seems like it's usually all downhill from there. So you got to make all the right decisions, especially in the tournaments. I've been close a few times in the big ones that pay a couple hundred thousand, made it down to the last 200 a few times, got my money in with the best hand, and all the times that I got my money in, it wouldn't hold up. Like I'd have Aces, they'd have 9's, and they'd flop a 9. I'd have Kings, they'd have 6's, they'd flop a 6. Just recently, I had Queens against 4's, and flop come 3, 5, 10, turn comes a 6, river comes a deuce, $400,000 pot with 200 to go. I was sick. Anyways, that's sort of what I've been doing lately.
I do miss playing the pool. That was sweet when Walden missed that easy combo. You were sweating your balls off, and I turned it all around, fortunately for us. That Chris Miller match was a little easier. I give him the 7, 8, the break, and the last 3. I caught a little gear on him. I think we played for 3 dimes a set, and I beat him two sets, racing to 21 each set. Miller played pretty good, but when he got a little heat put on him, he did dog it a little bit. Well, he has to dog it in order for me to win with the 7, 8, last 3, and the break.
I'll be heading to Louisiana soon. Let's hook up. Send me a PM with your phone number, and I'll give you a call. I talk to Ricky P off and on. He calls every once in a while. He wanted to fly me in to go to Mobile, but I didn't make it. I will next time. Peace to you, Troy. Hope to hear from you.
