Why not just contact the dealer you bought the cue from and ask for a weight bolt. Or, PM Unity Cues directly on here and ask them for one. Or for the thread size so you can get one. How would you go about getting a weight bolt for any other cue?
Personally, I don't think knowing the names of the makers is that big of a deal. I know the name of the company is Unity Custom Cues. I don't know the names of the makers at Schon, or Mezz, or Southwest, or a dozen other cue making shops. I just know about their product and reputation. Just my .02.
Thanks Cyrex about time someone with some sense responded. If any of our buyers have any problems with our cues PM us (Unity or Tommie1351) its that simple. Unity cues are fully warrantied. We are not in the maketing biz we build CUES point blank, so if we F@#KED up with how we went about marketing them then we apologize. All we know is we have built and sold rite at 40 Unity so far and not one issue. We have had only positive feed back from our customers. As for you guys claiming you know who builds these cues, good for you. Pat yourself on the back and move on.
Thanks,
Unity
I'm speaking for alot of guys out there in the billiards world when I ask: WHO THE HECK ARE YOU GUYS?!?!? You don't need to be afraid to tell anyone. You are free to make whatever cue you want to and sell it for what you want to no matter what. These cues bear NO name, NO logo, and NO marking of any kind that I've seen on mine, so there is no way to distinguish it as your regular cues if it IS made by an 'established' cue-maker like I'm told it is. I guess a name is worth a little more money to prove it was made by a certain individual, so man up and say who you are! How is anyone supposed to get extra shafts or work done to them if need be? Where does any kind of warranty come into play? I need a weight bolt for mine...Can you send ME one? I personally like mine and it was a good deal I guess...BUT a little info on who the heck you are would sure be nice. How are we to know that you aren't some hack-job out there making cues? You could be anyone, you know this! Maybe I should have held out for something marked by a 'proud' maker willing to sign it or put his logo onto it? After thinking about this, I won't buy another one for anyone unless something is done to know who you are for sure. There are rumors about who you are but rumors are just that...rumors, and I want FACTS as do alot of others before THEY spend their hard earned money on one
Question for you...
when a customer orders one of YOUR cues (not a Unity but a ________) or one who is waiting on a cue already ordered asks for a timeframe, do you tell them it may take a little longer than expected because of this new side business?
... perhaps i'm confused about this topic. or name Unity.
...we are building them on the side when we have time. We are doing 10-20 at a time
That's the primary issue. If you have the spare time to knock out 20 cues under a pseudonym, why not let one or two customers get the cues they ordered from YOU (not Unity) on time. Or even a little early? Why not just add these plain janes to your 'catalog
Wow you need to move on you have been busting our balls from day one. Here's what I will do for you if you want to no so bad I will play you some and if you win lol I will tell you who we are.Until you man up or women up ,you need to grow up and move on its getting old
Wow you guys at Unity are poets and don't even no it lol
P.S.
I'm goin to play you with a unity fresh out of the box.....
i heard it was a collaboration between eddie wheat and joe batchagaloop.
Jesus Adam, That is about the best line of the year!! thnx fer the chukle!
Thats good idea. I have an early 90s 5 point Schon (maybe rare) in great shape for $500.
If I can sell the Schon, I will buy a Unity to demo.
One step closer to divorce if i buy another cue but I like the Unity.
Yes; I don't think this has anything to do with counterfeiting. It's simply two cuemakers who make cues under their own names now also making cues under the Unity Cues brand name without disclosing their own names. Some people don't like that; some people see nothing wrong with it.
