I apologize if this is the wrong place to post this, or if this has been posted before.
I was trying to search out some info on Findley's Billiard room from The Hustler without having to pop in the DVD and I cam across these pics.

ENJOY! -Z-

:Wow, those are pretty great.

Does anybody have scorcese's phone#? We should call him, for part3.
:rolleyes::sad:

Yes cool pics for sure. In the fourth pic we have a great shot of the Brunswick pro cue. It's hard to tell what the other cue is.
Thanks.

Good pictures. One thing I notice when I watch the movies from that era is how good the acting was. Acting in Color of Money was also excellent. Today special effects often drive the vehicle and the actors are just along for the ride.

Not to be a Mr Know-it-all, but both cues are, in fact, Rambows.

I recall reading an article that he discusses making them for the film.

Great bunch of pics... Players back then played everything, even Billiards. Learning the rails was the biggest jump I ever made in my playing.

Someone asked what the cue in the fourth picture was. It's a Herman Rambow cue, belonged to Willie Mosconi, as did all the main cues in the movie. That particular cue with the broad buttplate looked somewhat like this Scruggs cue of mine:

All the best,
WW

I'd like to see a resurgence of Snooker in America. We used to play for $500.00 a game in the mid 60s

We had a pay-ball game at Magoos for a $100 a ball.... I saw 5 & 6 racks run on that old Kling.

Gabe & Chip fired in balls from everywhere.

Martin Scorsese..... not dead

I DEFINITELY COULD BE WRONG, have been many times before so nothing new. Was he the director of the " Oceans " series ? If so he is very, very dead. If not, sorry to him and yall. Look it up, let me know, thanks---------

I WAS WRONG ANDROID I APOLIGIZE! Jerry Weintraub is who I was thinking of. Once again ---- wrong!!! Sorry all!!!!!
