US Open 9-Ball, 2023, Atlantic City, Sep 25-30

Don't the weekend rates double?
Prob a set tournament rate, no?

I went through the process to gauge expenses. Note the rate change on Sat/Sun despite being booked via the "player's block"

It was something like $1500+ when registration first opened. I bitched at MR about this. I'm local and a 30 minute drive away. They wanted me to take the 21-30 for the rooms.

I finally received my spot and they made an exception for me since i am local.

Did MR make you stay in the hotel, I forget?

I checked the player's agreement and it states only that players need to be at Harrah's for the 24th. So I booked for the 24th - 30th.

You get a couple of spectator passes with your entry so I'll be trolling locals to see if they're willing to split room costs for the week...lol

Wait a minute does this mean you are willing to share a room with a stranger?

Booking.com, Harrah's, Sep 24-30, six nights, including taxes, city fee, "destination fee" and resort fee ($28/night) gets me $148/night, $887 total

Be careful because the taxes and fees are going to run to about $50/night.

I got this quote right now.

Its a great deal and experience.

If the sport has meaning to you, go for it.

I only attended one event as a fan and it was memorable, Atlantic City. I had see the Matchroom hype and it delivers.

To experience it as a player the fee is worth it.
Thats a bucket list item for me.

Booking.com, Harrah's, Sep 25-30, five nights, including all taxes, city fee and resort fee ($28/night) gets me $151/night, $755 total

Yep... except players need to be at Harrah's for the 24th, so I think that night alone was $149.

I just paid for the 24-30th stretch and it was...... ....$921.50 (tax includ) w/o resort fees. Resort fee = $24 plus tax per night

I redid it with the 24th -- $887 total including all fees. You may have to be a booking.com regular.

That is a commitment! Kudos to you! I will be pulling for you in hopes that you not only cash, but that your trip is a profitable one!

Maybe, I don't know. I followed the link provided to me by MR to get "their booking block". It may even have additional fees associated to it...lol
