Did you guys see the kick safe Max made on the 8? I don't know why he didn't play the CB one rail behind the 9, like the shot he did his prior inning. Thoughts?
Just want to point out how gracious Jayson was after Aleksa had the massive comeback. I dislike him less now.

Yapp has obviously played well to get here but I see him making more errors than Ko and Gorst.
Ko seems to have the speed of the table down really well but misfires more often than Gorst to me.
I never heard of Pecelj before tonight.
My guess is a Gorst v Ko final and if I had to pick one, it’d be Gorst.
Kinda rooting for Yapp or Cinderella Pecelj. Yapp bc he’s a nice guy with a major title in him IMO and should send a message about how stupid these Asian bans are.

Zielinski won the Las Vegas Open in March of 2022 and again in February of 2023. These 10-Ball events were part of the CSI/Predator Pro Billiard Series, not World 10-Ball events. The first prizes were $30,000 in 2022 and $25,000 in 2023, not $40,000. The year of the theft from the Polish players' room at the Rio was 2022, prior to the event ending.

Day 5 at the US Open was one for the history books. The day began with four former champions still in the hunt (Souquet, Shaw, Biado, Filler) and ended with none of them left.
Every one left is in great form. Patience has been the common factor among the four semi finalists. On this super tough equipment, there are a lot of shots not worth taking and these players have passed on the “sucker shots.”
I would say Gorst has been the best all-around player, with Yapp the best defensive player and Ko Ping Chung has been best at completing the runouts. Pecelj has turned a lot of heads with his consistent excellence, but he seems a long shot for the title to me.
Saturday should be a hoot! Good luck to these exceptional players, one of whom will win his first US Open 9-ball tournament.

I have no idea why you are not quoted correctly but seeing you are saying it’s wrong I will delete it. My point was this guy has won major events unlike what was stated earlier when they said he needs a coach or whatever.
He must be 17. He competed in a 16 and under junior event in 2021. In this photo below, taken in July 2023, he won he 18 and under event this. He's in the middle wearing the red shirt. He's from New Braunfels, Texas, and his nickname is "Lil Laz."
