Eddie Little reported on his facebook page that he won his match against Michael Yednak but the Chart (here: http://usopen.azbilliards.com/bracket2ws1.html and the live scoring here:http://usopen.azbilliards.com/scores.php both say he lost )

Eddie Little Won my first match of the US Open 9 Ball Championships!!.....I get to play Bustamante at 9 PM Monday.....looking forward to it...totally worth the price of admission to me!!!.

I believe Eddie as he is a stand up guy but this could be a huge problem. The US open charts have had issues in the past that hurt players and I hope this can be resolved before anyone shows up at the wrong time for the wrong match.

Is there anyway to let those in charge of the Open know about this possible error or is it just the online stuff that in not correct ??

Either way. The US OPEN is a GREAT event and I know everyone is doing there best.....

Good chance the actual chart at event would be right. Guys look at the chart to see who they play next, I'm sure he would say something when he finds himself on the B-side

Eddie is a good dude, I hope everything works out for him and he beats down Bustamante!

noticed

Yep, I noticed that too .....Geno  Hope Eddie gets that strait .Eddie is
one of the best dudes you could hope to meet at a tournament .

Is anybody at the Open that can confirm if the online chart is wrong and the actual chart at the open is correct or wrong ???

I've learned this lesson too in sweating the tourney, only bet on the matches you can see on Accu-Stats period.

I got confirmation this afternoon that it is only the online chart that is not correct and the chart at the Open is correct. No big deal as I am sure that the online chart is hard to keep up with...

Good luck to all the players and I am wishing very good luck to Eddie Little.

Go get'em Eddie !

It'd be super cool if someone were to snap some pic's of the on-site charts and post... :deadhorse:

Errors occur sometimes with the online charts. I will let the right person know of the error, but I'm sure they will figure it out when they have to add the next winner of the match.

I would think NO ONE would ever look at the online brackets for their match times. that's crazy to even suggest it, imo. Everyone should be looking at the chart AT the event, where the match times are posted. The online brackets don't even have the next match times, anyway.

I never suggested anyone would look at the online chart to see there match if they were in the US open but I did suggest that if the Online chart is correct then the LIVE chart was wrong.

I just heard back and the chart has been fixed now, Geno!

If anyone sees anything else, just let me know and I will pass it on.

AZB's 2-Fast-4_Fleas is Carlos Carter. The brackets show him playing Allen Hopkins. But Carlos is playing So Shaw, who had just played Kento Lacy, a few spots down in the same bracket. Carlos states Allen Hpokins didn't come. Further confusion - Is So Shaw also Jayson Shaw becaue AZB's brackets list him in the same place vs Kento as inside pool's brackets....

Why would Carlos' first match be against someone's 2 match?

Thanks KK9L - I'm letting them know now. Like I said, 256 players and hand entering... not easy but we are doing our best.

If anyone see's anything else, let me know.

This was actually a problem on the official chart. There are two Shaw's and Allen is a no-show. It should be correct now.

BTW, 2_Fast_4_Fleas Carlos Carter was getting crushed in his opening match against So Shaw. I just saw on live table scoring he had come back and tied him on the hill. I then looked away for a minute, went back, and his scoring is gone. I hope he won!

Thanks Trigger, Mike and Co!

Open charts wrong...

There is also another error with winners bracket #4, it shows
that Gregory Diehl won his match over Jeremy Sossei by forfeit,
this is incorrect. Jeremy won the match due to forfeit. I spoke
with him an he said Gregory did not show up to the match.
