US Open List of Favorites

My Picks

Shane Van Boening

Ralph Souquet

Charlie Bryant

Shaun Wilkie

Ronnie Alcano

Lee Vann Cortaza

Stevie Moore

Roberto Gomez

Mika Immonen

Oscar Domingez (who I picked to win Turning Stone!)

Now that is a pretty mixed up list! but that is my top 10. Based off how these players are playing right now, watching a lot of pool and going to a lot of tournaments, I think I have the winner in my list for sure.

I hate responding to these things cuz nobody ever cares about my opinion. Lol but here goes anyway...

Corteza
Alex/Corey
Alcano
Archer
Souquet/VanBoening
Orcullo/Wu

in that order... I'd like to have these players against the field for a small sweat... And I'm on the good action list...

Pm me if interested, must be on GAL

pick 6 instead of 9 and you got a bet.

us nopen

just wondering what players pulled out and why and also is L nevel , and S Daulton in I didnt see them on the list. Thx.

KTown I don't even know if all these guys are playing... Do u? It could be 6 already.

Today, with the brackets up, we can finally see who's playing and who's not.
I did not see Shannon Daulton, Allen Hopkins or Grady Mathews names in the brackets.

Also, I didn't see any of the Chinese Taipei players listed.

Of those entered, I like John Schmidt, Lee VanCorteza, Marlon Manalo and Roberto Gomez as favorites to win.

Strickland & Ortmann, I would LOVE for either of those two to win, but I don't make them favorites.

I haven't seen the player list so I'll assume most top players are playing.
I'd love to see Earl win it for the 6th time.

Souquet is always one of the favorites in any event he enters, I'd pick him if I were a betting man.

no substitutes. If any of these 6 don't play then the bet is off, otherwise confirmed, good luck as always.

All here and all playing. I like Johnny and Ronnie Alcano this week. Remember Alcano ran second the last two years.
Marlon and Ralf would be my second two picks. I'd take these four and bet even money at least one of them makes the finals! Only four players and one must get to the final two! $100 limit. Who wants some?

I'll take 3-1 that one of these four wins! You've got the field - 212 players!

I would also like to add the British players to the list of possible winners. World 9ball champion Daryl Peach won the Eurotour event last week beating Imran Majid (who beat Souquet in semis) in the final. Every time you get to last 16 single elimination round at a Eurotour event, they always seem have at least four or five guys there capable of winning. Very consistent, even more than Germans or the Dutch. That's strong. I would not at all be surprised if a Brit player takes the US Open title.
