Valley Forge Action Hearsay

I was there all day yesterday and didn't leave the gambling pit until 3:30 AM. Yes JL did get spanked pretty good for sure. I'll be there until late tonight too. I made a cuppla bucks on side bets at $50/game. Great action!
 
I have $11.32 just burning a hole in my pocket. Maybe I can buy somebody in the calcutta.

Will P. (ibuycues) just called me from Valley Forge. Said he had the unfinished blank of my new cue being built in his hands and it is just incredibly stunning. He said that Dennis Searing actually tried to buy it and Bill Schick and a few other cuemakers were all around memorized by it.

I heard from a guy in the Diamond booth that JL made big bucks in action at the DCC, more than she lost yesterday. Anyone know the inside skinny on that?

Gotta give Jeanette Lee some props for betting it up. It's EXACTLY one of MANY things that makes the Super Billiards Expo special, and that's the action. Plus, there's so many tournaments: juniors, seniors, women, leagues, ProAm, Pro.

Looking forward to more action smut. Maybe we will get a call today with some more snippets. I heard that Mark Painter from Virginia is in the house, welcoming all takers! :p

Im here at VF.. last I saw of JL she was playing challenge matches till at least 11 or 12 last night. I'll ask around and see if I can get some first hand info. I was next to Shane playing for some $$ last night. Looked like they were playing $100 per game and SVB was NOT missing. Period.

Jeanette's getting some back...

I arrived there at 10:30 this morning and one of the first things I saw was Jeanette gambling on a table off to the side, surrounded by about 20 spectators (it was early after all!). I saw her run out two racks and go to shake this older guys hand, but he was so flustered that it was all he could do to dislodge a GIGANTIC stack of money out of his pocket!

George Breedlove went to assist, and upon completing the task, Jeanette & George quickly left (for a nice lunch, I presume). So, not sure how much she made then, but she's going in the right direction.

Sadly, I had to return, so I'll have to rely on the stream and other posts to see what's next.
