Hey Max, thanks for posting this. Tell that little dude that I will get in the ring with him now that I know that all he has is an upper cut.

Joking aside he is a good friend and is one of the pros' that will chat with anyone. Great personality and always with an upbeat attitude.
 
That was so cool. I love Jose Parica. Great video that truly showcases his friendly personality. Man, doesn't Jose ever age? He looks the same today as he did 10 years ago. :)

The kid with the striped orange shirt, is that the Native American player from Northern Califronia? He came to the U.S. Open in 2004. "Richard Burton, I think, is what they called him, but his name is "Rolling Thunder."

I think Jose Parica was ripped off by the BCA Hall of Fame this year, and I beleive it was a political move.

Of course, I'm tickled pink that Bustie got in, but what they did to Jose is nothing more than a bunch of good ol' boys behind closed doors figuring out what would benefit them best. Jose must of pissed a BCA Hall of Fame voter off to have this happen to him. They did it to Earl and Allen Hopkins year after year, too. They eventually got in, but there were many who were admitted before them that should have come after them, IMHO.
 
Jose is funny !

One time on the Florida tour back in the 80's somewhere before a tournament was about to start, he was asked " where's Efren ".

With his sqweakiest voice he says, " he's dead " then he pauses a bit

and says " dead tired "

It drew much laughter at the time ! :grin-square:

You should hook up with one of the Internet Pool Magazines and share your "interview videos" through them.

Maybe they would be interested in sponsoring you in some manner, maybe trading advertising dollars for your videos or more.

Just a thought...

Jose is a funny guy, always nice to hear him talk and like other posters said, he enjoys shooting the breeze with fans and other players. Just don't get him talking about his virility. :grin:

That'd be "Big Daddy," Richard Burns of the Yana (I think) Tribe.

He's a good pool player, great guy, and a top-notch golfer (I hear)!

They sure did.

It was bad timing for Earl too....1 year earlier and he would have received a bonus.

It was one of the many perks the IPT had. They give each HOF member a nice check.

I miss those guys!!
