Video: Max Eberle 1Pocket - 3 runs of 15 & out

I can see from the wear marks on the cloth he's got the balls racked on the head string not the foot spot. Is that why he's making a ball on the break?

Regardless nice shooting.

He is playing on that end of the table because that is where the camera is set up.

Not much space at the other end of the table for a camera.

Well, Max shoots great.
No doubt about that.

I was just wondering.
Cause even when i've seen people gamble at it as a proposition, i never saw a ball get spotted up early, or at all when the ball went into the opponents hole.

BUT, if the rules aren't universal, it's no big deal.
It's still some nice shooting.

The balls were spotted at the incorrect time, but it seems to me that this is just a practice drill for Max that he taped for our enjoyment, and so I don't think it matters at all.

Now, if I had been betting against him, then I would probably cry foul, since having the extra ball on the table before it should be there is an advantage in that it increases his options for what pattern to choose. But it doesn't appear that anyone was betting against him.

I don't know about the break, or the ball spotting issues - I just thought some people would want to see some great shooting by an amazing player.

Tough crowd.
:killingme:

I like, totally discounted that run after seeing the rack...

Nevermind! Posted to say that the video wasn't working for me, but it's fine now.
I was getting "sorry, these videos have been deleted by the user" from youtube, but now they play normally.

All the racks had some trick shot (and a little luck) in them.
My favorite part is wondering what he's gonna do at the end of the 2nd rack. "Oh baby!"

They still work, he is probably using a non-updated internet explorer browser, it had issues with youtube for a while. Firfox or updating IE will fix it for him.

Out #2 was the best IMO. The last two of that rack were impressive.

"Oh baby!" :D Funny stuff.

TX Poolnut<--- :bow-down: MAX EBERLE

Rack 2

Although it was great shooting in ever rack. Rack #2 was almost inconceivable how he got out. He played a triple combination bank from behind the rack and various other great shots. Wow that was impressive. Tks for the video.

That looks like the table at Fatboy's house.

Yes its the GC 4 I sold, it is a easy table by todays standards(compaired to a diamond) It was playing pretty easy when Max ran these, not to take anything away from Max, running 15 is never easy. He was playing so good that week, I dont think he missed a ball when he had a shot for a week. Man he plays good!!!! I never play him, heck I hardly see him.

Can't discount that it was fine shooting...

Rules/ 1p & Max story- he was in VA playing a roadie some $100 1p. Roadie scratches on break in the 1st game, Max takes BIH- not behind headstring- and runs 8 'n out. Roadie is smiling and after a bit of back and forth, they quit right there. It appears Max has been doing this drill for quite some time.

VA loves ya, Max!

Challenging practice drill...

Haha are you serious?
Thanks man, I need to visit good ole VA one of these day!

Thanks Fatboy, always enjoy playing over there...the best home pool room of all time!

That was a crazy night, the music did help haha. I just spotted them like I thought I was supposed to. I was hoping to catch a 15 and out with the tape I had left and then 3 happened...it was so cool. Thanks guys.

Remember Helfert's one pocket challenge?

5 racks, break, but NO b.i.h., balls spot after table has been cleared. Gabe Owen did a 60, which I believe still stands.

one pocket

Cleaning the table three times running is always nice. But maybe I'm missing something. Why would he want to run 15 balls in one pocket?

Ball in hand?

Who said I took ball in hand???

Anyway, 60 is a great number... Great run Gabe.

Would be cool to offer a 10 million dollar prize for running 75 in 5 racks... or running 1,000 balls in straight pool.

You should consider getting in Helfert's one pocket challenge at the next Derby City if he has it again. I watched a video of Efren trying it and he was going two rails under the stack to start his runs.
