Video of Joe Rogan possessed by the spirit of Earl Strickland

Awesome. Was that Joe's first attempt at the voice? It was dead on.

Earl sounds a little like a southern Dave Chappelle. I'll never be able to hear Earl talk without thinking of Dave Chappelle.

Joe should do a Comedy Billiards Tour

That was Amazing Video. I would like to see him develop a series where he travels to pool rooms and imitates certain players and hustles some of the locals!!! Or,he would actually play the pro player and imitate him while they played. See if Joe or the player would crack first!! Write it up Joe,or if you want me to,I'll do it!! To heck with the Writers Guild and SAG....This is renagade S#@% Brotha!! Okay, just kidding about the SAG thing, those people are vicious, don't want you to lose out on a show with you and maybe (insert name of your favorite actress). You are da Man!! Peace

I can't really imitate that many people. If I can do them I usually know it after the first couple attempts, but there's a lot of voices I just can't recreate. I've been doing Earl's voice since the 90's though.
I do a pretty decent Grady Matthews too, but that's about it for pool players.

I watched this this morning when i woke up (iraq), and it kept me laughing all day. Thanks for the morale boost Joe and Justin for posting.

You should do a video of Grady and Earl discussing the merits of Sudden Death 7 Ball.

I am actually laughing as I think about it.

LOL...with costumes...and split screen like on Nightline. The possibilities are endless.

That's awesome! Two thumbs up!:thumbup:

I'd think it would be funnier than hell to interview Earl, as Earl.

I'd love to hear the grady. Grady's voice with the slight whistle is very distinctive, and so's his style of talking. Grady's already kinda funny to listen to.

Thanks Again Tar

Thats what I call priceless !!!

Please do the Grady and Earl thing next.

Then start a comedy pool show ! hmmmm pool + comedy !

That was absolutely awesome Joe!

You have got to do the the Earl/Grady thing... I would pay money to see that!

that's f*ckin strong. i think that may be the funniest bit i've seen him do.

Thank you guys, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I can only do a few impressions, and Earl is one of them. It's easily one of the most obscure impressions I can do outside of the pool world.
Justin and I were playing last night and I told him I could do an impression of Earl and he blew a gasket laughing so we had to get it on tape.
It was all off the top of my head. Maybe next time I'll actually write some stuff out for it :)

Joe, That was spot on Earl. Thanks.:rotflmao1:

lmao, Earl vs. Grady, tableside chat on the AZ Billiard Pool Forum. Make it like a History Channel documentary. Maybe get Jay to be the moderator with split screen Joe in costume for both. Epic.
