Wade was a close friend for many years, was one of the funniest guys you could ever be around. Wade is surely missed by all of us lucky enough to know him, glad he got a good burial.
 
Somehow I don't think my wife will do that for me...I better go prepay for one.

That is a very fitting memorial to a great player. Sad to say, I didn't really "know" Wade as well as some of the posters here. I knew him in passing and we had some talks over the years but he knew my Dad pretty well and they always struck up a conversation wherever we were.

I am glad to see the family got this accomplished, he would be proud.
 
On a similar note, when I did my interview with Evelyn Wanderone 6 weeks after Fatty died, she said the fluzzie (new girl friend) in TN called to let her know about his passing, in converstation Ev asked her, what was on his Tombstone? The woman paused.........Evelyns come back (hopefully you all remember the commercials back then) ...............WAS Pepperoni & Cheese?
Boy we had a good laugh. What a gal, and BOOM BOOM what a guy, he met a great gal from my area, and took her away to the south, lucky man, lucky woman.
 
He will definitely be remembered as a great player and missed as a great person! Thanks for sharing this with all of us!

Thanks for sharing crane family,that is 1st class all the way and very beauiful,wade was a 1st class pool champion and 1st class man,god bless!
