Wanna trade ar15 lower for???!!

???!!

Explain this then... That is true in nam a bad batch was given out huge improvements were made.

Explain why in Afghanistan and Iraq they use ak47's and we weren't slaughtered we killed em up with the m16/m4? Also FYI why did you say fully automatic weapons are illegal for you? Is it your state? Cause anyone can
own a transferable class 3 registered machine gun!

all that being said.is that price of $942 you have listed retail or wholesale or what?how much are you looking to get out of it in trade?

i am interested and i have a cue almost done i might be willing to trade if you are interested.

i am not the best known cue maker here by any means but if you do a search you will find information about me and my cues.the cue i may have available is Cooktown Ironwood front and back with a 5A Quilted Maple handle.

the Cooktown Ironwood tree is from Australia and is so dry that when they cut the tree down it is already under 20% moisture content.

anyway let me know if you would be interested.

i am in Tennessee and just always thought fully autos were illegal unless you have class 3.

i did happen to have possession of an MP5 many, many years ago.that gun was sweet.i still miss it.hard to believe a 9mm round could ever be that accurate.

i sent you a PM

Lol

that's retail, I build them. I bought all the parts and put it togther. Very easy to do.

No in TN you are ok with full auto class 3 a mp5 will run u 15-22,000 lol good investment

I'm looking for a famous cue makers cue like scruggs, frye, phillippi or something

MasonH

You might want to do some research on Mason's cues. He's being a little modest here. I would put his craftsmanship up against a Phillippi any day.

I personally loved my M-16 when I was in the military. It won me several shooting awards and I can't recall it every jamming on me.

Either way, best of luck with your search. I believe you will find several gun enthusiasts on here.

i didn't really like mine. it got the job done as long as it was clean though. i cleaned mine for an hour and had it jam on me the next day

i watched part of the history channel video that masonh is talking about. there were a bunch of changes done from the M16-a1 to the M16-a2. to be honest they still jam a lot! when they're clean they work fine but if they're dirty (like in iraq/afghanistan,random sandbox) they jam a lot more.

we're not getting slaughtered over there because the people aren't as organized. even though we're not being slaughtered we're still losing more soldiers than i'm comfortable with. most of the guys we lose these days are because of IED's/road side bombs.

the people in north vietnam planned a hell of a war and were extremely dedicated. there've been reports of their soldiers being found with tattoos that said "born in the north to die in the south".
during the war in vietnam we were sending soldiers over there that didn't want to go to fight people that only wanted to win and wouldn't hesitate to die to do it. they were extremely dedicated, organized, and smart.

gotta clean em i am a clean freak i could burry mine in the desert pull it up and fire it 1500 times with no issues id bet money

for the record the longest i've cleaned mine was 8 hours straight. i'd still think 1500 is a stretch though. the carbon build up would get you. my rifle was clean and it jamed at around 200 rounds

how much u have into that reciever,a whole ar is about 1k..lower should be about 400

the and in the middle eat

they jam a whole lot more because of the dust and sand. everything seems to have more trouble working over there.

the sand in the middle east is like a fine liquid it goes everywhere but a Kalashinov or sks will fire underwater
just my $.02

i shot an m16 a few times. it jams too much and needs too much maintenance imo

That rifle was not maintained correctly. I've been shooting them for almost 20 years and competively for 12 years. I'll clean the upper around every 500 rounds or when MOA exceeds one minute at 600 yards, whatever comes first.

I've never had one fail yet on the firing line.

I bought a Bushmaster several years ago and it was junk, jammed at least once every clip and was never shot under any rough conditions. I have had several AR's and an old Colt that was about the best one. A few years ago I bought all the parts at a gun show to build one, put it together in the parking lot and it is the best one yet, out of several thousand rounds I have had no jams and its still super smooth.

M16

While I was in the Army, I fired dozens of M16s and they all jammed up without fail. My dad was in Vietnam and said it was the same. Any dirt or carbon and jam jam jam double feed jam jam, lol. I've fired many AKs. My buddy has an AK with a 75 or 100 round drum. I've unloaded it several times and it never even thought about jamming. My brother has an AR15 and it is better than the M16s we had in the Army but I'd still rather have an AK if I was betting my life on it functioning. I'd own either for just shooting, both are cool. You can customize the ARs and they look sweat. Just my experience.

I don't doubt you. Wish I had something almost finished up that I could try to woo you with. I'd like to try one of the new or top end ARs. I miss flipping the slector lever from single, past 3 round burst, and on into full auto. I will say I had less jams when in full auto. One time I got to empty about 10 30 round mags into a swamp on full auto. It's hard to explain how enjoyable it was...and then I burnt the sh*t out of my hand on the barrel, I'd do it again in a second:)
