>Warning to all AZ'ers {DaKarateStar}<

He's no karate star. He's an embarassment to all martial artists that train to achieve superior physical and moral standards. In our organization your belt will be suspended or revoked for criminal activity or ethical improprieties. I doubt if he ever trained or made it past the first month of instruction. This is for you, Leo...SSSSSSSSST. Get used to that sound. It's a can of Whoopass being opened in this forum!

For the good of the game

Hello All!

One of my regulars on here just PM'ed me on this yesterday and I just logged on for the first time in a while. I just finished reading this thread and to say the least, I'm not a happy person learning of this. I'm taking immediate action to do my part as an honest person that wants to bring pool back into a POSITIVE light. I'm on the case now and there is giong to be a SANDSTORM! I'll keep you posted on what I find out....

- A very concerned Sandman
Right on! even though I have never meet you personally I had a feeling you would step up and .:help: Thanks

Thanks sandman, Just tell him pm me or something and we can work this out. I would hate to see someone ruin their career like sixpack said over 425.00. Keep me posted.

It's just always baffled me how someone could throw away their future for a measley $425.

When I was a kid I got caught stealing a quarter or something out of a payphone. My dad didn't get mad he just said "So your soul is worth a quarter? Because that is what your actions just said."

I spent a lot of time wondering what my soul is worth. I don't know, but I know it's worth a whole lot more than a stinking $425. Or $425,000 for that matter.

Come on Leo. This is probably the best mulligan you'll get IN YOUR LIFE. A chance to make it right with someone who is willing to let you make it right. Someone who would hate to see your future ruined with a felony fraud conviction so he is willing to drop the whole thing if you just man up, apologize and either give him the money back or the case or the other cue.

I don't know what you're studying in college, but with a postal fraud case on your record you won't have the option to be a banker, stock broker, policeman, lawyer, doctor, veterinarian, real estate agent, financial analyst, politician, teacher, professor, boy scout troop leader or any government or university job. In addition you would never be able to work as a nurse, pharmacist, radiologist, anything medical related.

You won't be able to work in any regulated industry like tobacco, liquor or firearms and your options will be severely limited if you should want to go into the military.

You're paying 100s of thousands to go to rutgers and get a good education. Why would you jeopardize all of it for a measly $425? Seriously?

Just call the man. Send the money. Get on here and say you're sorry, your life got out of control etc...

Heck, just call the man and explain the situation and see what you can do to make it right.

You just have to pick up the phone. Or the keyboard.

A small hijack of a very effective thread - I took my young daughter (she was 11) into a convenience store with me. I bought a couple of things and we returned to the car. In the car she proceeds to open up a new pack of gum. I asked her where she got it and she wouldn't tell me. I stopped the car and MADE her tell me where she got the gum. I already had a pretty strong suspicion since the gum was right by the counter.

After she finally confessed tearfully to taking it, we returned to the store. I told her to walk up to the counter and apologize to the lady for taking the gum, and pay for it (I gave her the money). She was bawling her eyes out now and didn't want to walk back in the store and apologize. I didn't give her a choice, she HAD to do it. And she finally did. Lesson learned!

Needless to say my daughter never stole anything again. I know she never forgot that incident and it was over 25 years ago. She's a great gal now, and a fine mother who teaches her kids all the right things.

Jay,

Between your story above and Rich's story about his $.25 soul (that he's done a great job of appreciating value) I just had a flashback to age 5, picking up a hand-buzzer (prank toy thing) on the floor at a Skaggs, it wasn't packaged, priced or anything. just swept into a pile ready for the dustbin by an absent employee.
Less than an hour later, I thought to shake hands with my mom to test this newfound toy out... Without much ado for this tale, Mom pulled a similar move and I was at Skaggs bawling my baby blues out to the store manager (I still remember him asking me how I'd like it if he stole MY toys...). All this over an item that Skaggs never carried (my guess is that the toy was just lost by another patron), my mom did right by me that day and ultimately for next 31 years worth of days.

Almost identical to an incident with our son when he was very young, 7 or 8 I think. Involved some of that slime stuff the kids put in molds. Took him to the manager. Now he's got his own 14 year old to worry about.

Obviously Lulu or whatever his name is never learned his lesson. I have a feeling it will be an expensive one when he does. It ain't child's play anymore Lulu!

so i am thinking that Ding Dong's dad let him chew the gum instead !

instead of what he should have done, like what Jay did.

I don't think there was a lot of positive mentoring going on there.
Let's face it, his dad named him Dong.
Remember though that Jay is the guy that offered me a new Pechauer cue when I went through this a while back with Brian Kozy-bbKozy-cSJ0Ss.
Very similar scenario when I sent a Pechauer cue to this criminal, and got porked.
Jay Helfert sent me a PM offering me a free cue.
I thanked him and told him to give it to someone more needy, and proceeded to start a "lovefest" thread for Jay that was a lot of fun.
Jay's not a bad guy for a young daughter to have for a dad.

He's online as I write this. Time's running out, make things right before your life goes real wrong. Everybody makes mistakes, you made a big one, but not too late to fix it. Wait a little longer and you're in serious trouble. Live and learn, or stay stupid in jail and think about it.

Also have a couple of friends in Jersey City that own a boxing training gym. Not that we want to beat this Ding Dong guy, but might be a good idea to pay him a visit and with no violence make sure he returns either goods or cash!

No resolution yet? It makes me wonder if he wants to go to jail.

What do you suppose will happen to a guy named Lulu in prison?

A wrong be righted...

Same day results from the Sandman...

I just caught wind of this yesterday, got in touch with Dakaratestar in person, had an eye to eye, heartfelt talk with the guy, and expresed my dissappointment in him. It was never his intention to rip anyone off. I know for a fact that he was going through some very difficult times financially and basically just took forever in sending out the case he was selling to obtain some very needed cash. I always try to find the good in people. Even the most innocent and kindest people in the world make silly stupid decisions and mistakes when times get desperate. He has already contacted JLROWE today to explain himself and apologize for the whole misunderstanding and delay in shipping out the case. Dakaratestar was unaware of this thread until I brought it to his attention last night and he read it this morning. I believe he has a good heart underneath and wants to do what is right to fix things and make good. It is always reassuring to see that good people stick together when they feel a travesty has occured HOWEVER, publicly posting personal information (name, address, DL# etc.) and suggesting physical violence as an appropriate action of recourse, is NOT an honorable way of handling things that I can agree with. Anyhow, all this will be settled shortly and hopefully jlrowe will find closure and Dakaratestar will have learned his lesson from this as he bears the guilt for a while.

Thank you all for sticking together on this and standing up for justice. I love it. In the meantime... BE SURE TO VISIT SANDCASTLE BILLIARDS in EDISON, NJ when you're in the area -OR- visit www.SandcastleBilliards.com to get the latest news, tournament results and specials from NJ's #1 players' room (now going for the jewels and replacing 90% of the room with BRAND NEW Diamond Pro-Am tables with tournament blue 860 Simonis and matching light fixtures - I'll never let go of Steve Mizerack's 4 old Brunswick Gold Crown I's) with the LOWEST rates and BEST deals for regulars in the STATE!!!
