Wecome Back Danny Medina

I think Danny and Wade Crane (RIP) had the best breaks in pool history. Watched Danny many times make the cue ball jump about 3ft. in the air and set in the middle of the table and the sound of his break was unforgettable. At one tournament in Oklahoma the lights were lower than normal and when he broke the cue ball broke the lights, his comment was I need to take a little off my break here. Looking forward to seeing him again.

We got a guy in D.C. that was convicted for crack cocaine and misuse of authority, and he's still in office in another capacity, thanks to those who elected him back in.

Very well said. Danny is a tough guy and will be back. The weight loss makes me feel better. Few remember how athletic and fit he was for so many years.
Life has some weird twists and turns. God only knows how this story will unveil.
He better hurry though, Danny is getting old. He turns 60 in a few days. I f I remember he is about 26 days older than me. LOL

Don't know how long or what the conditions of his parole/probation is, but the last I knew he still wasn't allowed to be anywhere that alchohol is sold, so he's been hittin' em at a senior center and working really hard on his game from what I've heard. Look forward to seeing him play well. I met him and played some with him right the tail end of his recent problems, and it was sad to see how much 'game' somebody can lose or have taken away from as a result of 'issues.'

There is not one in congress that isn't owned by someone/ some corp/some group...not one of them. You can't get elected w/o being bought. Johnnyt

I think it may be possible that 9BallPaul did speak with Danny before September.

I know for a fact that my other half spoke with him on the telephone more than a month ago at a tournament or in a pool room. At that time, I think he was living in a halfway house. :smile:
 
I knew Danny when I was at Ft. Carson for 5 years. OK by me. Didn't make me laugh like Davey Gomez did, though.:D

He told me he was released on Sept. 6. Maybe that was when he got out of the halfway house. I'm only going by what he told me. He said he is playing good and looking for a backer for the U.S. Open. He could go deep if he's playing well.
