I'll take the over, Cliff is a Grinder!

If it was in a pool match, or haggling with a woofer about a match, I'd agree. But some nut on here will insult him over spelling, punctuation, what color shirt he wore in a match at the last tourney, or some other nonsense and he'll think, whats the point in this. I'd definitely like to have him participate and throw a little one pocket info into the forum. And I know he has some stories. Think I'll go with Jay.

But Welcome Cliff. I hope you hang around with us for a long time.

Welcome Cliff. Thanks Jam! Hope your contrabutions are as great as your game!

P.S. I'm a nobody, so they don't "F" with my spellins!

Times are tough...

I had a layover in Atlanta, and my stakehorse and I just had a tough time with a few bad games in Gainesville. We really don't got a lot to work with right now, and we have to get a hotel room. This jet lag has me all tired, and I don't even know if I can afford to eat and play in the tournament let alone get in action. So, uhh, can I hold about 300...

Any chance Cliff is joining to answer that Scott Frost Challenge for $10K race to 21, 1-pocket I see in The Action section?

Hey man, can I get a hundred???

We have a Fast Eddies TOurnment this weekend in San Antonio on Embassy oaks. THis is the sme place i saw Cliff gibe a local guy named Nino 14-5 about 3-4 years agp and put the guy in a trance.

After about 2-3 games there might have been one game difference when the guy laid down a fairy tale break. Cliff roolled up against a ball taking a foul, Second shot, same thing. Third shot, same thing. NOw Cliff needs 17. He sudies and studies and then makes a three rail band and leaves another shot and hit the ball at warp seed and runs 17 and out.

The next gamed, Ciff runs 15 and out.

Third time Cliff takes three fouls again and you guessed it, he ran 17 and out. It was almost more than NIno could bare, but he kept playing and blows like $2100 at $300 a game. AFter the third straight run, Nino never looked at his side of the table again. It was a bit sad, but at the same time, hilarious.

I'll be glad to see Cliff Joyner join. I just hope people will be decent and not make conscious efforts to chase him away.

How do we know Cliff is here?
What name does he go under?

I saw his name listed below as reading this forum, and believe it or not, his forum name is: "Cliff Joyner." :grin-square:

He joined, but he has not been approved to participate yet. He's what we call in forum land, a real "newbie." :p

Has anyone actually talked to Cliff to see if he is joining the forum? Odds are its just someone using his name because I don't really see Cliff as being an internet type of guy. Either way, if he's here I look forward to reading his stories and insight.

What, no three foul rule.:)

Most people I play must never read a rule book. There are a few other rules some players dont use when playing one pocket.
