Assuming it’s an AMF/GC copy, a few follow-up questions:

3 piece slate?

K55 profile?

Level of effort involved in refinishing metal corners?

3 piece slate - definitely! Rails/rubber - unknown, but to the best of my recollection they were using something very similar to Gold Crown cushions (K66?). They played pretty much the same.

you could try buffing/polishing for starter but if too far gone then a rechrome or powdercoating shop could fix you up.

I had a buddy do all of my pocket castings, he just charged me a few beers and table time. If he was charging he said approx $150 - $200.

It is not the AMF Gold Crown copy. My money is on a Chinese manufactured table.

Thank you for being helpful. I will follow-up once I get the seller to put some effort into looking for the branding. Any idea what decade this table might be from?

It's a strange maker that is ashamed to put his brand on a table.

Both the metal trim and the pocket liners may be bad designs. Does the metal leave black oxide marks on your pants? (It takes a while to find that out.) Are the pocket liners sticky and leave residue on your shaft if you bridge over them?

Judging by the sideboard and pocket configuration - Chinese Gandi , one piece thin slate with 1/2 inch backer.

You can take a look under the table to see how many pieces of slate there are. The posters who say it is not an AMF table may be correct since there isn't a marking plate on the rail, which all AMF's had. I thought that perhaps it was removed for some reason like aging and coming loose and that someone then cleaned up the rail. I have seen Chinese made GC lookalikes as well. They are predominately used in poolrooms throughout China, but many did find their way over here. You again have to look underneath to really see the difference in construction. I also noticed the metal pocket casting does not line up properly with the rail.

Did you mean a no-name Chinese copy of a Gandy table? Or is there actually a Chinese company named "Gandi"?

A "Gandhi"? That would be for peaceful, non-confrontational pool. ;)
And you hit every shot too skinny.:yikes:

But I would say it would be non-violent rather than non-confrontational. I think Mahatma Gandhi saw his calling as figuratively poking his thumb in the eyes of wrong-doers.

So I have to ask, if you don't know anything about the table, and the seller doesn't know anything about the table, why are you interested in buying it? Is it free or near free? Will the seller deliver it to your door for $50? Is it the only table available for sale in your hometown? Something else?

<====This Inquiring mind wants to know:)
