Right now Mine is the Lucasi with the new spliced shaft I got last week. Very pure hit. A guy at the pool room asked me this same question, and I said "the only way to explain it is, the balls are going exactly where I'm looking", and it just gets no better than that!:).....Gerry

My favorite playing cue is a Jerry Olivier, nice solid hitting cue that has been my favorite for a long time. Also have a Skip and am looking to get another cue soon, maybe a Kikel..Heard the Kikel's play very nice also.

but the two I almost always play with are the ebony nosed black and cantando! :D

There's 3 cues I always go back to: a 1974 plain TAD, a 1984 custom Scruggs, and a 1998 custom Jacoby. Don't know why or what makes these three very different cues make the ball go where I'm aiming better than others, but they do.

I really like the hit of a Sherm Cue! But I may be just a little biased! lol

just more hot air!

I've owned and played with quite a few different cues in my life and my favorite is a Paul Mottey cue. I have 2 of Paul's cues and one has an ivory joint and the other has a stainless steel joint (both 5/16x14 piloted) and i'm very satisfied with the hit and feel of both cues.

I like my Sailor cue and Schuler cue...Sailor is crisp Schuler is stiff and solid.
I have 2 Ned Morris cues which are nice and solid.
The stiffest cue I own is an Alex Brick
I've played with a Bluegrass sneaky and that was great...unfortunately they are not taking orders right now.
I also played with an Ed Young cue and am about to order one...
ruk

Well I like my ....

1. Gina
2. Black
3. Tad
4. PFD

In that order....

My other 9 cues play okay too, just not as well as the above 4.

I love the way a meucci feels. Lot of people dont like the black dot shaft b/c of its tendancy to bow. I think it adds more feel to your stroke. Although i shot a little with a friend of mine's predator shaft today and i may end up picking one up in the future. either way I like meucci a lot b/c of the wrap ( i know its silly, and can be done to any cue). I like having a consistant feel throughout the butt, sometimes gripping half wrap and half wood can mess up your game.

Well, when i'm shooting good it doesn't matter too much what i shoot with.
My no-name 50 dollar cue hits fine... :)

My Scruggs, definitely. Yep. Also, a couple of Schons have hit nicely and also my former Capone, though slightly too stiff for my taste. Schuler had also a nice hit, but the butt was a little bit too thick for my light grip.

Favorite Hitting Cue

I play a Jerry Olivier and also a Schon. Both have a real nice solid hit.---Smitty

Joe Thomas cue. A shoemaker from Toledo that took house sticks and converted them into a two piece cue by adding a metal joint, leather wrap, and a custom clear plastic butt that has his logo in. Great cues. Paid $60 for one about 40 years ago. Not sure but I think they were titlist cue to start with.
