I have a Samsara X-Break cue. I like it.
I've never played with any of their regular playing cues.

I know several who love them. But just like all cues, some people don't. Everything is subjective. Looks-wise, they're amazing.
Scott Lee shoots with one. Even when he isn't teaching. That should mean something.

Actually I have two Samsaras, and play with both of them all the time. They are great cues...good looking and great hitting! You cannot go wrong with a Samsara!

An awesome cue, and Jim is a great guy, he took my son and myself around their shop for over an hour one day. Find Mike Feildhammer on here he knows them well.

Samsara has actually been around for over 20 years. They also built the 2013 Cue of the year. I love my Samsara break jump. They are also one of the few high end cue makers that build an extremely affordable line for the average joe.

I have a J/B and it is excellent. I don't have personal experience with their playing cues but they look nice and seem to be of quality. However, for the price, you could get a decent Custom MW.
Bar Cue
Not sure if this is the feedback on the cue your looking at, but a really good player and friend around here shoots with one of their bar cue's. Ive played with it and it feels very solid with great feedback. His cue had an ivory ferrule so that probably had something to do with it, but the cue felt really balanced to me overall. Don't think you can go wrong with Samsara.

I have the Gen 3 X-Breaker built by Samsara, and 2 playing cues. Both were lower end fairly plain models, but the built quality and finish is excellent. The first one I got was a real plain jane. It was all black, and the only cue they ever made that was not cored. It was a small run of cues in 2000 called the Sneaky Sam. My god does this thing hit great. I absolutely love it. It is currently on loan to a good friend of mine who is fast becoming a great player. She loves the cue and wouldn't want to change.
I would recommend them overall. Also, I found them easy to deal with whenever I had issues. The X-Breaker developed a problem with the break jump joint. Now I didn't really even buy this cue from them, and X-Breaker had gone out of business. Samsara took care of the issue for free. I was impressed!

I had a Samsara bar cue which they said was built the same way and the same materials as their pricier models. Did not like the shaft at all, very whippy with more deflection than average. Had a great feeling hit but I could not play with it. If you use a different LD shaft or are used to a high deflection shaft they are good cues.
Samsara was one of the makers I heard about when I started playing pool and have always wanted one. Coild not play with it though and ended up trading it.

I would put them in my top twenty cue makers. I think they make some of the most beautiful (original designs!) cues that also have excellent playing qualities. I have a plain cocobola Samsara that is on the wall with my favorite playing cues.
Samsara actually built most of the original X-Breaker cues. Only the ferrule/tip where done by Chan.

I've had several samsara cues over the years and have been impressed by every one. I also have this one up for sale to help the widow of fellow az'er Husky1

They also built a lot of the Sledgehammers for a period and they broke very well. I have heard they make a very good playing cue. Look wise they are in my top five.
