What is your favorite drink when you play pool?

I'll usually have a Crown & Coke (or two, rarely three) during the course of the night during league play. I "nurse" them so long that all the ice is melted before I'm halfway finished with one. Whether I'm going to play or not (as in the APA league) dictates how many I have for that particular night. It usually figures to be about one drink per every 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

Cold water. I sip it when my mouth feels dry. After a few minutes I can wipe the paper towel I get from the bathroom on the outside of the glass to collect the condensation and get it slightly damp, and then wipe down my shaft with it.

I never drink anything else.

My drink of choice use to be a double Jack on the rocks and sometimes a beer on the side. Then I'd go outside and light up a big...nevermind. They call me "Clean Living Johnny" now, because I just drink a Mountain Dew with no light up. Johnnyt

In competition or serious practice: CocaCola or redbull. Something non-alcoholic to keep me going if I'm going to be there a while.

Socially, non competitive play: Grey Goose on the rocks or Vodka and Redbull, sometimes a beer.

Decaff coffee.

20+ years sober, after way to many years of not being sober.

Pool and beer are my 2 pleasures in life, so why would I want to do only one at a time.
My wife only drinks on occasion so I have a designated driver with me when I'm out. Depending on how serious the game is depends on my beer intake.

That and a triple white Bacardi with a splash of Pepsi and lime. I like to taste the rum.

Fosters Beer I only have a maximum 4 pints whether I'm out playing pool or not, yes it's lightweight but I'd rather not suffer a hangover the next day.

Water is about all these days. I gave up the alcoholic beverages over thirty years ago. Best thing I ever did. Never did play good drinking beer and the rooms in NYS didn't serve back then, anyway.

Great memories of Fosters... always loved Fosters in the "oil can", those biiiig cans. I could always tell my wife "I;m just gonna have a couple of beers and then be right along" and crack open one of those cans. :p

Haven't had one of those in a long while. Might have to grab one this weekend.

Tough question, too many variables.
Where am I playing, what time of year is it, my current mood, what I have a taste for at the time and my current financial situation.

Well, summers I drink mostly beer. No domestic swill, craft beers and imports. Usually Ales/pale ales or Weiss beer. If I go with a drink in the summer usually vodka/soda.

Winter I prefer brown ales, stouts and porters. I enjoy too many brands to start naming. If I want to sip something stronger and have any left (haven't been able to afford it in a long time) MacCallans 18 with a splash of water.

If I am not drinking alcohol, water, coffee, and iced tea.

I too remember Fosters when I was living in the UK, I was younger then and it's pretty awful now to me. I thought the funniest thing was when I visited Australia during the 80's they thought I was crazy for as they put it "drinking that piss". I guess it's like the kids over here drinking Newcastle Brown, OMG, now that truly was one of the nastiest beers ever brewed.!

Beer vs. Whiskey

I switched from Bud to Jack & Coke.
My game has come up a few notches since the switch.

I recommend whiskey

Peace
