Ok well you have got it completely wrong but appreciate your response and I do understand where you are coming from.
I think my post where i explained that me beating the 13 ball ghost (much less often then i lose might i add) is suggesting I am a better player than i am due to the reasons i explained previously.
I am very surprised if im honest at how big a task it is being made out to be to beat the ghost because i know these things as FACT:
1. I have beaten (not regular but have beaten) the 13 ball ghost
2. I have been beaten by A LOT of players who i simply was not in there class.
I think rather than suggest I am some poser or liar I think you should consider it is the case that you are underestimating the top players and that they could beat the 13 ball and probably 14 ball ghost a lot more often than you think.
If i am 100% honest yes I know i can play but no this was not a pat me on the back attempt it was a player who feels they are under performing, not reaching their potential and wanting to know what others (experts) deemed my potential was if I could sort out the mental side of my game.
If that is a crime i apologise.
Just going by what you have stated, get out more and play others. That will help your mental game more than anything you read. The best attitude to have when playing is to play like you practice. Don't worry about what others think about your game. Worry about perfecting your game. Let the chips fall where they will, and go from there to improve.
Assuming you really are beating the 13 ball ghost even some of the time, that only rates your offense. How's your defense? At the higher levels, that is a very important part of the game. And that also determines what your rating is.
