Ok, there has been lots of tip talk going around so I thought I'd add a bit to it.

What hardness of tip do you prefer?

I have put the most common tip harnesses down.

thanks,

I have always used a medium tip, but recently, I have been trying hard tips, and they are starting to grow on me. So, for now, I say medium, but I also have a Wizard hard tip on my predator that hits em pretty good for me.

I want to feel the "click" all the way back to my back hand. I want it to "click", not thud... or bump. :groucho:

Wow, I never realized how many people like hard tips.

I just tried a Triangle on my 314-2...HATED it....way too clicky hard. I cut it off after 2 hours and put a good LePro on. LePro tips to me are soft and get perfect as they break in.

Maybe I should find out what tip was on my 314-2 new and go back to that.....it was just right.

I've used Moori Slow tips for a long time and I don't care for the newer Moori Slow tips as much as I liked the old ones. The newer Moori's start out harder than the older style tips and they just don't feel the same to me. I bought a used Predator shaft on AZ and it came with a Sniper tip and I decided to give the Sniper a try. I liked it from the start and i've started using Sniper tips instead of the Moori tips I used for years. The Sniper tips start out soft at first and after a week or two depending on how much you play they firm up to a nice medium tip. I'm not trying to sell Sniper tips, but they work very well for me.

I was a Moori med guy, but I just put on a soft Moori and I like it a lot. I also like the Kamui med and the Everest tips as well.

LePro tips are easily the worst playing tips in existance! :D moori-medium or kamui-medium/hard for the win!

314-2's come stock with Everest medium tips

Back in the day, I would use LePro. Then I switched to Moori quick. Now I use the Wizard H. You can't beat it for the price.

I like a nice crisp hit. I went to Triangles 4 years ago and have never felt the need to try anything different.

I usually use medium tips, but i played with a hard tip the other night and I have to say I liked it. Maybe I'll switch....

Right now i have a sniper but when i get my new cue it will be a moori soft.

Not impressed with the sniper, i guess i expected too much.

I'm a Triangle man. I feel I'm more consistent at applying spin with a Triangle than with the softer tips.

They don't apply as much spin as softer tips, but I think the spin is more controllable.
