What woudl you do? One-pocket...

Allright. Here was the situation that I found myself in. My pocket is on the right. CB is frozen to the 5 and both are frozen to the rail. Nothing but a thin hit available on the two. What would you do?

kick 1 rail to the 11. just enough speed to make a good thin underneath hit. otherwise you take the foul and leave nothing also.

I would rather kick at the 4 pushing it up table if I were kicking. Or I would thin the 2, leaving the cue ball below and preferably as close as possible to the 4.

I like yor suggestion. Kicking at the 4 ball is risky plus you might tempt him to bank the 2 ball.az picture.jpg
 
You'll sell out if the guy knows how to bank, lagging to either ball. Thin a ball and leave him in the 11. If you miss, he is still pretty screwed.
 
i like the kick safety but it might be too hard for me
i might take a foul and try to place it below the fur and on its low side

I'm trying this. I'd prefer to do this to the 2-ball, but it doesn't look like it can be seen. It would take away the return kick at the 2-ball or a possible 2-ball bank.

my answer is similar but i would try to hit the 15 with right english and go above the 4 and hit the eleven or stay underneath it.:thumbup:

Kick the bottom side of 4. 4 moves up table. Cueball slides off the bottom side of two and goes one rail into the stack. Try the shot out.

I don't think according to his description that you can see that much of the 2 ball but I like your idea, just off of the 15 ball instead. jmo.

This is what I would try though my odds of freezing the cueball are slim. I would be most concerned with getting the the rail. The closer I stay to the rail, the better.
 
I like all your answers. I guess I chose the hard route. Went two rails of the bottom rail, nicked the left side of the eleven and froze the ball to the left rail. Not the easiest or most obvious route but no one has ever accused me of doing things the easy way!!!

This is no good ,u could easly leave him a straight in bank on the 14ball,unless u can put the qball under the 11,but that is a very tough shot from there,u better have awesom qball control to get there!

This is what I like the best. I think you meant off the bottom side of the four though.

Your right if you don't execute. I like the shot and feel I have a good success with it.
