What Would You Pay For on AZ?

The "Members Only" idea on another thread didn't seem to go over very well. I for one didn't like the idea.

But many members don't mind the idea of paying a fee to AZ for something extra.

I would be willing to pay a fee for a larger mailbox. I hate deleting PM's that I would rather save, in order to make room for more. I understand that memory costs money, and I would have no problem paying.

What would you be willing to pay for?
 
I don't have problems for getting larger mailbox. my mailbox never gets full :P but I would donate something to help out. little fee for the love of pool <3
 
I don't know how the administrators make anything off the the forum except thru advertising and I don't know what it costs to run a forum. Here is something that I do know is that my daughter's neighbor quit his job and runs a forum for GT500's. He now makes in the 6 figures doing this. He also makes more than his wife is in a high paying profession.

Maybe it is because GT500 owners have more money and the advertisers pay more to target that audience because there cannot be that many GT500 owners or members of a forum like that.

You can download PM's to your hard drive before deleting the copy on here. I do it all the time.

I also would not mind paying a fee, if it would help with all the system crashes.

my guess is that that idea will flop as well because i can't see what kind of "inside info" would lure a group to pay for a premium board. an insider interview with mika?,,,anyone want to pay for that? special play-by-play report on a big tourney? we get lots of posters already doing that.

maybe they can put all the "ask the pros" in a premium section. those forums crowd the main category page anyway. the only forums i can see going in that direction are the cuemaker/room owner forums. they can talk business there,,,but even then, that would not address the issue, which is to make money for azb.

maybe give grady/randy a premium no-holds barred forum. it'd probaby do well.

or maybe use premium as a consolidation tool because 60% of the forums get no traffic.

Why all the threads? Why can't the admin's setup a donation box? I would gladly donate, however if we were forced to pay I would be out of here in a NY second.

since premiums would serve no purpose at AZB, essentially that is exactly what they'd be.

I never need extra pm space. Nobody likes me so I don't get no pm's. :rolleyes:
