Well, I'm an equipment junkie as much as the next guy, but I got tired of lugging all that stuff to the poolroom and never using it. I play mainly straight pool and sometimes three cushion, so I don't need a second cue. My nicest leather case is a 1x2 case that only has room for chalk (made by Marc Turcasso - Matcase on here), so I prefer to carry that case. Therefore I have boiled it down to the following essentials and optionals carried in my pocket:

Essentials
1) one of those tiny little "rosin bags" of powder
2) chalk (in the case)

Optionals
1) a CueDude rubber cue holder
2) a tiny scuffer or tip tapper

I don't need anything else for a typical trip to the poolroom:
- tip shapers - do it at home
- leather or plastic bridge heads - just be careful with the metal ones
- cue extenders - learn to use the bridge and to shoot left-handed, just like Efren
- shaft slickers, polishers, etc. - do it at home
- towels - the poolroom has a bathroom, doesn't it? At my age, it better

Simplify!

I feel alot better after reading this thread. Friends say I have a man purse.

My purse has;

6 master chalk
tweezers- spliters, ouch
band-aids
ultimate tip tool
tip pik
wizzard shaper
nicks shaft papers
golf towel
porper cue holder
moose head
iPod head phones- for practice sess.
M&M minis container full of quarters
hand panty- glove
eye drops
advil
lip balm
Johnson baby powder
hand sanitizer
aramith cue ball
pen/pencils
1500 sand paper
4 coins for 1hole
couple of badass TAR patches

That should be all.
