Where are all the CF butts?

I don't think my Revo hit any better or worse than any 314/Z shafts I've had the prior 20 years, it plays exactly the same to me. But I've had it 5 years now, and there is not an even a hint of a ding, scratch, or wear on it. I can't say the same for any 314/Z or wood butt I've every had, which all get battle scars no matter how careful I am.

I'm not looking for a magic hit with a CF butt. I think a plain butt with nothing on it would sell like hot cakes, if made by one of the Chinese companies and priced at $100 or less for the butt only. There are plenty of CF shafts now that are very nice quality for less than $100. The Crical complete cue with wood butt and a very nice CF shaft is $130 total. If one of those companies used the exact same material and construction technique on the butt that they do on the shaft, sign me right up.

We could probably leave in the car year round, bang it around. No finish to chip. Nothing to warp. Etc. And from what we've seen of the CF shafts, they'd be straighter than the wood butts when new, and definitely straighter over the long term.

Some company is missing a big opportunity IMO.

I think the Rhinos are all carbon.

Mine is fine, balance is a little weird, but a good truck cue (mine stays under the back seat). Would be a solid choice for a first "real cue" at $360ish with an extension. Just need to swap out that shit Crystal tip.

Why haven't we seen carbon fiber butts proliferate the market? I'm talking about a CF tube with no paint on it, so it will look just like all the CF shafts. Would they be too light? I suppose they could be filled with something like the shafts are to get the weight right? Is there some other reason?

The closest I've seen is one of the Chinese brands I believe has an ugly painted CF tube with wood inside, and it was the old style CF with the cross hatching from the 1990's. I may be remembering wrong on this one.
A CF tube for a butt probably weights from -3-8oz depending on the diameter and wall thickness. Light, but they can obviously be weighted
