Where did you get your AZ Handle?

my younger days...

i got mine back in high school! it kinda fit so everybody just kept it!
 
Mine is my tour nickname, given to me by some good friends of mine who have been shooting pool only 8 years long, than I have :)

It's because I can play alot of various shots in ways that have baffled other players, as well as trickshots and also because I can rack up a game of 9ball, using only my hands and get a perfectly frozen rack, at least 8/9 out of 10 times :)

Since then, the nickname has just stuck with me, and I've had it tour name for about 4 years now, but I prefer people to just call me Willie, as my favourite player and my inspiration in pool, is the great and legendary Willie Mosconi, who has inspired countless number of players to pick up a cue stick :)

A Message From The Dark Side.....

My handle is my cat's name. My girlfriend started calling him "Dart" because he darted across the house like his tail was on fire. I added the "h" because he soon became the dark side of the force. Here is a photo of Darth with my avatar, Cyberfox. I was going to use my avatars name as my handle but that would've sounded a little kinky to say the least.

Not sure how true it is for most people but most of my friends and family all
call me different nicknames. Coming to forums I have never known exactly what to put.
Some people just naturally have a nickname that fits any situation.

havoc was a nickname i picked up from my kickboxing days.i was fighting in pittsburgh and after my fight a gentleman that coulda been an xtra on the sopranos set was giving me my props.he said "son,you was wreakin' havoc in that ring."so it kinda pumped me up and it stuck.

i thought of using my childhood nickname "berserk kirk" but i stuck with havoc.
 
Most people at tournaments know me as Daniel from Knoxville. The ones who know me fairly well just call me Big D.
 
I'm not sure where my nickname came from. I have never hustled anyone playing pool, because gambling in CA is illeagal as far as I know. I would never want to break the law!!

Plus, I just started playing pool last week and really don't know how to play yet........:D

Well, I'm the One Pocket Ghost because.......One pocket was always my favorite game, and I died in 1961 while playing a one pocket session in an old time pool room.....Went to heaven, didn't like it there that much - too clean-cut and goody-goody for me.....Checked out hell, it was way too nasty for me, so I made my way back to Earth, and I'm staying - hanging around at all my old 'haunts' hoping to scare up a one pocket game, walking through pool room walls, and 'materializing' at the DCC every January.
