Where does Mike Dechaine rank

Umm, Appleton isn't from the US. If you add him you might as well add Toasty who lives in the US, and is from over seas

Ummm...Ok then switch Daz for Strickland...my bad as i sincerely apologize for my nationality error with Darren as I was speaking logistically,

I'd say Dechaine is in the top 10 of USA players. But let's face it, SVB is number one by a pretty wide margin, then the next 9 are a "pick 'em", depending on the day...

SVB, then Johnny Archer, then pick 'em. If you disagree, line them up and I'll stake Johnny.

Mike is like 2nd in BCA points if I'm correct. It's a complete joke he isn't on the mosconi cup..... Mark Wilson doesn't like him so he doesn't get on, even though I think he plays better than 4 of the other picks on there.

Who cares what your BCA points are??? He performed miserably in the Mosconi Cup. If I keep putting a horse in the Preakness and he stumbles every time and comes in last, I'm not going to keep hauling him there.

And shuff did better than him in mosconi cup? I don't think anyone does well their first time ....

You act like he can't get played in all most all 50 states.

Feel free to start a Mike Dechaine tour, and I'll point you to a game in every state, multiple games in the bigger states.

Actually I don't act like that at all. I'm just going by tournament results in the last 2 years and he's accomplished more than 4 players on that team as far as tournaments.

I said I think he plays better than 4 of those guys on the cup and you tell me I act like he can't get played? Lol have another drink bud.

Shane, Corey, Earl, Johnny, Rodney Morris all hands down better than him. Maybe not as far apart as SVB and Dechaine but they all still are. Probably even more that I am just forgetting about. That is based solely off rotation games. I like to base players off an all around basis and I put Dechaine FARRRRR down the list after that. He can't play anything other than rotation games.

After seeing an in-stroke Hatch play for money against Biado and almost pulling the upset, I would take Hatch over Deschaine in a long 10 ball race.

I agree, Johnny is a favorite over Deschaine too.

His tournament record is stronger than the other guys his age or younger, except Shane.
The old legends keep getting mentioned, every time I've seen Mike play Earl, Mike's won handily...
like their race to 21 at Snookers, or their last match at SBE.

If Johnny could access his highest gear still, he'd of course be considered the better player.
But he simply hasn't shown that gear in a while. Whether that's due to his stamina,
his eyes, or just a lack of drive, who knows.

We can't compare apples to oranges here... doesn't really matter how mike stacks up to players
who are past their prime, or can't find the motivation to play their best.

I'd rank Dechaine in the top 25 US players, but not in the top 12.

Rodney or Hatch would take him apart.

I met Mike's father once. I can't say enough nice things about him. He is a real gentleman you can't help but like.
