Which Vegas trip is the best

I've been to vegas 3 times for apa and I was wondering from some of you have been for apa, bca, and vnea which is the best. What tourney is the best? Which tourney is the most organized(well ran)? I'm quitting apa so I want to figure out if I should try and join another league or just focus on regional tourneys. Let's hear it.

The BCAPL is being held this month in Vegas simultaneously alongside the US Open 10ball Championship and the World Pool Masters. I think that it would be pretty hard to beat such a combination. :p

I've been to them all and BCAPL is by far the best - higher level of competition - better organized - better tables - gambling allowed - and great pro events run in conjunction with. If you have to make a choice, this is the one to attend.

With out a doubt the BCA is by FAR the best!! IMO there is not even a comparrison. There are more vendors, more events, just mixing with all the who's who in the pool world there is nothing like it. Mark Griffin and his team do an amazing job with organization. This will be my 5th year in a row and it seems to get better every year.
If you have never been, It's a must!! But be warned you will be hooked and never want to miss another.

I love trick questions! just kidding.

BCAPL is the best.

BCA

I have found that just going to Vegas is the best. Don't need a tournament to go there.

best trip

The best run tournaments are hands down with the APA.
From the singles in April to the team events in august.
The rest are rank amateurs

Isn't that the truth... I'm going back to Vegas for the first time in 12 years.

Our local charter is VNEA, which isn't a terrible thing, but I'd love to be in Vegas during the BCAPL, just to experience the above mentioned venues.

I'll be watching the available streaming just to get a little taste of what others will be living...

Vegas and BCAPL

Just an FYI - the BCAPL has a lot of Vnea leagues that dual sanction. This allows the league to meet all the league requirements and play in both (or either) of the National events.

We try to make the national event a special thing. Every year we make improvements that we hope everyone enjoys.

Ditto! BCAPL national tournament is by far the best! I'll be there next week, for 10 days!

Well, you have been to Vegas three times with the APA and now your no longer going to play.

It does sound like a lot more fun to play in some of the others and pay for everything pertaining to you trip and not have much prize money when you get there. Good Luck, lol

Just depends on what you are looking for.
For most people BCA would be the best for all the reasons stated above.
But if you are looking at it as money in vs. money out from a tournament stand point IMO BCA is not the way to go. My buddy Greg won the men's singles 8ball open event a year or two ago and got $11,000 for first place in a field of over 1,500 players WTF is that? Not to mention getting it busted off in ya paying a buck a game for practice and during your matches. It does not sound like a lot but it adds up big time especially if you are playing in multiple events.
In contrast my friend Amy just took second place in the Women's single event with the APA and won $9,000 in a much smaller field I'm sure. So like I said it all depends on what you are looking for.

I've went twice for the singles event and once for the masters team tourney and both times the apa hasn't giving enough money to cover travel expenses much less room or other stuff. I live in NC and you get 300 bucks for travel expenses and automatically get 100 bucks last place money(when you arrive in vegas) 400 bucks barely pays for the plane ticket and then I still have to worry about room, food, and other expenses.
I had a great time every time i've went to vegas for the apa but I'm thinking that one of the other leagues would be more worth my time.
