Who are the AZBers you would most love to meet?

Sweet Marissa cuz shes a cutie patootie who knows how to shoot some stick!

Rackmsucker- just to see how well she does play and to see how tall she is lol

Jennifer Barretta - well do i need a reason :)

BHQ- so we can shoot some stick together and look at all the hotties

Timberly - I want to see who this person really is!!!!! Its like trying to figure out who deepthroat was.

Landshark- same as Timberly

JudeRosenstock- I'd goto NYC just to shoot some stick with him, plus he seems like a kewl azz guy

Oldhasbeen- if i was able, it would be to just listen to all his old stories back in the day and shoot some stick

Freddy the beard- same as OHB,

Grady- same as above, and to be like damn i got my azz beat by this old guy playing banks and 1hole

Keith McCready - So i could say the Its Like a Nightmare line!

Jam - So i could listen to her road stories while Keith is kicking my butt, and i am his personal racker.
 
linda, here name is chrissy, shes about 5'7", long dark hair.......mexican. i think theres some pics of her from windy city open in the archives, ill have to look. i think she had just started shooting back then, its almost 3 years ago. i showed up towards the end of the conversation. i just remember her commenting on how nice you were and how you helped her.

While I've had the pleasure of meeting some of you, and the even greater pleasure of knowing some of you, there are still several that I would love to meet. They are:

1pRoscoe: Perhaps the only person on this forum that loves lamp more than myself.

Koop: Hopefully we can meet up down in VF.

JAM: Seems like a nice lady and she's got some good stories too.

Ridewiththewind: Lisa's a sweetheart. Seems like she may be a real pleasure in person.

9ballgirl: I actually spent a good half hour in the pit standing right next to Wendy last year, but I like to remain incognito so I said nothing.

Kevin Varney: I'd just like to be able to put a face to the name.:D

cornerstone and Matthew Staton (or whatever his new name is): I'd like give each of them a free copy of Grammar for Dummies and Spell-Checking for Dummies.

travis trotter: Because I'm convinced he's only 9 years old.

I have met several AZ'ers before...

Linda - who is a fierce competitor on the green, but nice when the match is over.

Ted Kaufman - Just a fantastic person that shoots an unrelenting old-school game with perfect mechanics. Wish I had taken better advantage of being in Greenville, but the smoke in the bars was killing me.

Mike Templeton - Another nice guy that I with which I wish I had spent some table time.

People I would like to meet... 8-ball rat (Mark), krbsailing (Ken), Jimbo, Hal, Tate, Jay, Denny, Jam, Marcus (FNL), Dick Abbot, and Donovan. I am missing one in particular, but I am having one of those moments.... Oh! Myron of course!
 
I will get to meet Archer (again) and Schmidt when I get to play against them down here on the island at the end of the month.

Went out to practice last night and was a bit rusty. Banged them around with the Black Boar before switching to the RB. Only managed to run 38 and did not have much finesse or stroke working. Gotta practice a lot more before my matches!

I had a change in travel plans, so I will be arriving in Vancouver Friday afternoon, but I think I will try to make it to the Rack. What time does the tournament start? if it's not too early I should be able to make it. If not Friday I will likely be at Guys and Dolls on Tuesday.

ps. I don't think I'll be instilling fear into many players so no need to worry I consider myself more of a banger aswell :D

You gotta drive down to Bellingham and meet krbsailing!!! He can invite Tom C. over and you guys could bash some racks together. Tom is a character and has lots of stories. He looks rough and tough, but shares his knowledge with worthy people. You could learn a lot in a few hours of play.

Wow, the list could be fairly long - AZB is where the true fanatics gather.

Remember this is a list of those we've NOT met (search the old thread for AZB'ers that we HAVE met).

Rackmsucker - seems to be a true sportswoman.

JAM & Keith - pretty obvious choice; who wouldn't want to be favored with a few road stories.

DaveK - always makes me laugh; too bad he lives in the Great White North.

TheOne - anyone who makes straight pool look so easy is someone I would like to watch.

Worminator - sure knows a lot about Indianapolis pool (for someone that doesn't live here)

Snapshot - damn, he is a pool playing machine.

NYCcuedude - Straight pool lover and promoter deserves EVERYONE's respect.

John Schmidt and Thorsten Hohmann - see above.

Jay Helfert - dang he's got a lot of stories (and a pretty good nickname).

8BallBernie - just to make sure he's real.

OMGWTF - I definitely need a fashion consult.

Steve Lipsky - I would KILL for a game with him.

Wish I could write more, but I must sleep (been awake for most of 3 days, need to rest up for DCC).

Condolences to anyone who's already met breakup (a few months of psychotherapy could possibly help).

I would like to meet all the AZBers from back east because I love hearing their slant on just about everything. Hope to see any/all of you at Valley Forge this year, I'll be at Martins' booth (westerncue.com). Mr. Wilson, to thank him personally for trying to do his best to arbitrate people who can be exceptionally difficult! FREE JIMBO! I'd like to see if I could figure out how he really feels (lol). There are MANY I have already met, either in Vegas, DCC, or SBE.... I'm not going to make a list of those that I have met, as I would probably leave one person out and they would cry thinking I forgot about them.....

There is a small but rather distinguished list of those that I would really like to meet.

First, I'd like to say thanks to all of u who made this forum very entertaining and informative. Of all the boards, (whether pool related or not), this one i definitely post to most.

As for the members i'd like to meet:
Cornerman - seems to have a vast knowledge of the game and doesn't beat around the bush.

Varney Cues - Never really thought of the other side of cue making.

Snapshot - His avatar rocks.

VIProfessor - Very articulate in his posts.

8ballbernie - To know the reasoning behind his posts.

And more, but hey, I only have a short time for lunches.
