Who are the 'Old Schoolers' of AZ

After your post Joey I went to the link to see what you were referring to. Great pic; talk about being on the road - literally!

That guy has more passion for pool than anyone of us could ever dream of.

I would love to have a high resolution photo of this. I would like to make a poster of it for my room.

I think David once told me that he purchased the photo but it was long ago and I can't be sure.

Pictures...

Wonder if I have any pictures. Don't think I got any from that first RSB tournament in Titusville but I know I took some at the Chicago RSB tourney.

Lordy, Ed! You seem to show up here only once every couple of years or so.

I wish Brady Behrman had never told me about RSB. Then I would have never ventured to AzBilliards.

I do wonder how I would have filled in the hours I have spent on pool forums in the last 11 years. Gives me food for thought.:o

Here's one way ... but you already knew that!

With this site being around now for quite the time and me being gone for a period of time, it appears to me that lately there has been more of an influx of new members actively posting than in the recent years. I used to read posts and threads and know most people involved. Now I don't know many of them.

Makes me think, who are the Old Schoolers of AZ -

Trigger, Blackjack, Cuaba, Fast N Loose, Fatboy (well only Fatboy1 not Fatboy2), Hangemhigh, JAM, JB Cases, JoeyA, Manwon, Ribdoner, Rossaroni, Williebetmore, Spidey, Houmatroy, Mikeyfrost, lfigueroa, Terry Ardeno, Corvette, JCIN, Jay Helfert, Saw, ME....I am sure there are a slew more but those are off the top of my head.

I was a poster on rec.sport.billiards since about 2000, my account on here was created 12/27/2007, does that qualify me?

HEY this thread is from 2011 who dug this up??

Not sure why everyone keeps mentioning rec sports or RSB.

The subject is - Old Schoolers of AZ

I joined in February 2005 and have wasted countless hours here ;). Not to mention the money it's cost me.

My five year AZ anniversary is today. I think I will drink a beer to celebrate.

We all emigrated from RSB to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go to AzBilliards, the final frontier.

Now listen to this before reading further ---> HERE

We are the RSB-ers.

[Stand and salute.]
[Color guard.]
[Cheering and applause.]
