Who are the top five players in your state?

Texas is full of good players. I dont think Dennis is top ten.
Does the car salesman in Beaumont still play? I watched him
play years back and he played great.
Scotty Townsend got beat by a few people all in one bar in Houston once.

Attn: OPK --- Denis is not the car salesman in Beaumont.

The guy frankncali is talking about is Tommy Sanders, and he doesn't play anymore, but he'd be in several states list if he did.

Thats him
I cant believe I couldnt remember the name. If I am remembering right
he had some good matchups with Earl Strickland. I guess a lot of good players have quit in the last 5-8 years.

Theres a lot of guys like Tommy Sanders that few have heard about but
can realyy get after it.

ILLINOIS

Neal Jacobs
Eddie Balderas
Dan Anderson
Tom McCluskey
Donny Bailey

Just curious, but what part of Illinois are those cats from?

Reno, those are his drinking buddies who's names he wanted to see in print, LOL. The first list was pretty close, leaving off, in my opinion, Mike Bandy.

Missouri

Jerry Terbrock
Andy Quinn
Rich Sager
Larry Lutman
Mark Wilson/ Little Pat

There are a few one pocket specialists that would be on this list if one were asking about one-pocket only, like Danny Hill. Also, if Little Ricky Van Ume would ever show up he would jump to the top of the list.

Do any of u Texas guys or anyone else know whatever happened to Brian
Asley, he played in the Temple/Waco area for a long time then moved to Houston for a while. After Houston he turned pro, played there about 4-5 years and disappeared. Anyone know where he resides now?

Yes I live in TX and he DOES NOT reside here!!

With the kind of games that Cliff gives up, he may live in the same nuthouse as you, OPK.

New Jersey's Top Five

The only player who I know of that lives in NJ and should be considered for the top five is Jose Garcia. I'm sure there are many more. New Jersey sees a lot of great players, but many live in NY or PA. Don't forget that Hopkins, Mizerak, and Mosconi all lived in NJ. Since it was mentioned above, let me agree that if you're in the area, you should stop by The Green Room on RT 73 in Maple Shade. I've seen some top players, including Santos and Parica, gambling there.

Top 5 players in West Virginia:
Uh, Uh, oh, hell, who cares?
You guys never even heard of West Virginia.

Hopkins still lives in New Jersey -- near Atlantic City. Don't forget Kid Delicious. He used to live near Rockaway Billiards, but I'm not sure where he resides now.

How about Carmen Lombardo? He's from NJ isn't he?

Thanks,

What about Joe Woolford?

If you are talking about the Joe Woolford that lives in St. Louis...last I heard he was having problems with his eyes and wasn't playing that much...but that was awhile ago, maybe now he is in dead stroke, who knows.

I had to play him Monday at Palace Billiards in my pool league. He's a very good player, and beat me 2-0 easily.
