iowa/illinois
first off . just because your from a certain area dont mean you have the best players. theres so much talent out there its not even funny.
everyone says all the names from one little city when there is a whole state full of hustlers.
iowa- not in any certain order or skill level . just the best
joe villalapando-getting old but i would take his knowledge over efrens. his game 10-20 years ago was superb. see almost daily. still teaches me things he notcies wrong with my game. i love the guy . he is the most down to earth guy youll ever meet. he also taught the benhke family which has brought them extremely far today. currently making pool schooling fills on 2&3 rail kicks as well as superb cue ball control. i know and use this system and its phenomenal
jon kachuro- amazing talent. gets side tracked in life. but when he is on nobodys gotta like it. when i was about14 he whooped me giving me the 1 out and the breaks for the dough. haha like to see him try that shit now. him or anyone on this list. or any list
Chad Velmont- This kid has alligator blood. so much heart. so much talent. great posture. doesnt let the game get to him. just smooth player. i like his game. much like jamie baraks
whitey walker- hits balls everyday.teaches. very smart player. won alot of tournys. all around good player . when he hits a gear hard to beat.
scott kitto- played more pool then most dream. has the game down. in his day he could beat anyone on any given day.
jamie fenton- dont know him personally but great player. only getting better. seen him run racks. lots of people say he is getting way better.
jason chance- another good des moines player. not to great of a guy met him a few times and was always an ass. great one pocket player. guess he has deep pockets and a big mouth.
Josh Johnson- Another great player who just gets side tracked. doesnt realize his talent and pisses it all away. poor kid.
Richard Pena JR - got some good ass talent just gets ahold of the wrong shit know what im saying?
Mark Nelson- not many know of good ole mark. he has slowed his play to almost a hault. recently became a father and married. doing the family guy thing ya know. but he will be back and this man knows his shit. he taught me how to masse like a animal

.
behnke boys Adam & Ryan because any one of them could beat the other on any given day. Adam may have the edge but ryan can certainly put the heat on adam. good kids amazing talent there dad is a great guy. jerry is a good player as well. and watch out of little chad he will be better then all of them in my eyes. he has that mentality.
The Late Chris Aiardo- passed away cancer. not before passing some onto his boy. spike will progress greatly. chris was a great player and teacher. he could do wonders for someones game.
shannon sharkie shroeder - recently reloacted due to marriage to chicago. good guy. sometimes haha had his past living in the present. getting extremely better id match him up against the betters these days.
rod flenoi- the one you didnt see. you did play. didnt win. and his name wasnt rod. he was cool as hell the whole time smiling and shit while he took your dough. good guy but a hustler. only trust them as far as you can throw him and rod is a big mofo.
ill stop with that but there is still many more very good players. come to iowa you can get played.
Illinois-no certain order of those i can speak for i wont mention anyone i do not know.
of course Jesse Bowman- a champion world beater. pretty much what all pool players want is what jesse has. the heart, the talent, the mental stability, the hustle, the whole package. imagine if this guy played pool? as in practiced. tho he did just open a pool hall in rock island illinois so come on down.
might as well add the rest of the bowmans. Dwanine and Jamie. both of them are jam up players. ill put my dough on dwaine playin 8ball against damn near anyone. jamie doesnt hit them as much as he could but he can still play. jamie is a character, have tons of respect to the bowman family. as they do for mine.
Jamie Baraks- my personal fav. he is an animal. he used to work for my dad running a pool room. jamie is an amazing guy just as much as he is a amazing pool player. his stance and mentality for the game i admire alot.he takes everything he does are serious as he can until its perfected. he has the best break ive ever seen. rookie of the year in 05 in the pro's. he is currently hitting them still prolly everyday have been seeing him frequently. and his game is sickkkkk. one of the best~~
tommy hernandez-game gone a little down hill but if he starts hitting them again watch out.
man i could go on for alongggg time the quad cities have alot of good players. would love to see some more out of towners come threw. well i am off work so ill post more next time.
