Tonight at league, this guys comes in and just starts running out from everywhere.
WHAT, nobody that wears a glove can play that good, right?:D

I think his name is John Smith or something. I believe he won a decent sized tournament once.:D :D :D
 
He was just gettin' lucky. Guys like that will wilt under any cash pressure. Bet it up!

Came through here a while ago. Plays sporty 9B but a stone sucker at straight pool.
 
If this is true and nobody at league knew who he was it's just one more reason for sponsers not to use pros. If players from the largest pool league don't know John, where is their bang for the buck? Sad...very sad. Johnnyt

I'm not sure where it is but it's probably somewhere in FL, panhandle. APA sponsers John for that area I believe. As far as Turning Stone, I don't know why he isn't there....maybe he's playing in Reno Barbox or one of the other tournaments this weekend. Johnnyt

I've seen this guy before. His name is Jay Helfert. He's a real choker. You play league, so you probably could get by offering him the 6, maybe the wild 7 - don't worry, I've never seen him run more than 2 balls in a row - it's probably the glove.

Also, if he tells you he won the US Open, tell him he's full of crap. That was some guy named Schmidt and he looks nothing like him.
