If you could have any cue maker in the world (from any era) build you 1 personal playing cue, and cost was no issue.... Who would it be?

i will list a few choices in the Poll, if your choice isn't there than tell us what your dream cue is....

No wrong answers here...

I know I left many great cue makers off the list, there are only 10 spots....

poll

well I don't see a poll but here we go Paul Mottey, James white ,BLACK BOAR,Tim Scruggs.Mike Cochran

Barry Szam Or if Gus was still alive Gus and Barry together. I do have one cue they both worked on and that is my most important cue I'll ever have becaus there will only be a few ever made, Gus started them and after his passing Barry finished them-It dosent get any stronger. BTW, it hits like the dream cue it is. I'll post pics someday of it. Its rose wood with propellors-my favorite Szam inlay. I would sell my kidneys before selling that cue.

Dave Kikel. His creativity and craftsmanship are incredible.

i started playing pool in the late 50's in the Chicagoland area.Balabushka lived in Chicago i wish i would have bought a cue from him.it would have had provenance by me using it all these years and saving the original wrapping and all..i just like the nostalgic effect his cues have now.i purchased a Brunswick one piece cue from the approx.era of late 1870's a couple years ago..i really like the cue and occasionally i play with it..:)

Paul Mottey - Hoppe style, 4 Rosewood points, 4 (B/W/R/B) veneers, BEM Forearm, Rosewood butt, Black Lizard wrap, Ivory Joint, 5-16-14 piloted, Ivory Ferrules

My dream cue would be Made by a Samurai sword maker, one who undestands balance and power, the looks arent as important as the Man (or woman) making the cue.

Surprised that Jerry Franklin was on this list, seeing as he passed on back in the 90s. If you're going to include Jerry, why not put Gus, George and Burton on your list?
