They are NEVER told about the event. League owners don't care and don't help the sport. They never helped TAR to my knowledge advertise and they were part owner.

No Mass Emails
No Banners
No stickers

Want the industry to work with one another and it never happens. A ton of resources and modern technology to send out a mass email to members about pool events on TV or the internet. It is just a nice thing to do. But, nothing even though it takes, so little time.

One of the most shocking misses I've ever witnessed. The shot was probably 99.9% to make and it was double hill!

That was unreal unexpected unbelievable.
The shots he had to come with before that were stellar.

Then Liu gets up and leaves horrible position on nine and makes very pressure shot to win.

Great match.
 
Well I am not a big fan of Karl Boyes but his hanging of the eight felt like I got kicked in the gut. I can only imagine how he felt.

Boyes was definitely on the verge of a great out when it all went wrong. Liu has got plenty of game.

That's a tough miss... I wasn't particularly rooting for the Englishmen but it hurts to see a shot like that.

I could almost feel his pain.

I'm not sure I can even remember the last time I saw a top pro dog a shot that easy, let alone at double hill after making great shots to get to that point.

I can only assume the tough shots beforehand had him mentally fatigued.
 
We have all missed shots just like this. He focused so hard on the previous shots that he just let down his focus on a hanger. He focused so hard on getting easy position on the nine and took the shot for granted...been there done that.

Karl needs to study up on SIT with heavy outside english. LOL Shocking miss, but was struggling with touch all match.

Liu should have read my thread on getting shape off pocket hangers. Stun with OE was the shot, but can't blame him for playing conservatively under that pressure.
 
My Diamond and every other Diamond I have played on acts the same, shiny balls, slippery cloth, hot lights, and boisterous fans will make no difference. When hit with pace the pocket facing is your friend not the pocket points.
 
He just lost his concentration after the three shots before that. Took the shot for granted and hit the inside point. We've all done it, just a tough situation for that to happen.

If that other guy could have made a ball on the break, at all, that match would have been over earlier.
