So, any predictions for the upcoming WPBA tournament?

The winner of the last tournament, Jasmin Ouschan, is now battling it out in Manila in the World Ten Ball Championship.

Who will win this time?

My predictions for semifinals:

Xiaoting Pan
Kelly Fisher
Allison Fisher
Line Kjorsvik

I believe Allison will win this tournament.

If Kjoersvik wins you better pack up and head for the Phillipines!!
 
I'm hoping the west coast brings Kelly some more good tidings. She seems to do pretty well in San Diego!

My pick to snap off this title is Ga Young Kim. Watch out for Jeanette Lee, too, as she was third at the US Open and 2nd at the Carolina Classic.
 
My 'Diva' Allison fisher will be the winner.On her way to the finals she will skunk several unfortunate ones.
 
Iris draws OMGWTF from S. Cal. Good West Coast representation including Aileen Dimmick from Palinville, Rakin sisters and Callado from N. Cal.
 
I have no idea, but I think it is cool that she is playing!

Normally I have two players that I like to cheer on in tournaments like this, and that's Line Kjorsvik and Jasmin Ouschan. Since Jasmin ain't playing this time I will cheer on Line and Melinda :)

I heard that there was a last minute opening and she got the call then made the 16 hour drive to get there. Very cool that she is getting to play in the event I hope she does well.
 
I had the chance to watch Iris Ranola win a AWBT tourney last w/e in Phoenix.

I was pretty impressed with her shot selection and overall table management.

From what I understand, she has spent a great deal of time sparring with the the great male Phillipino player and it shows.

Don't be too surprised if she causes a couple of "upsets".

OK, thank you for that. I looked all over the place to see what regional she won. I thought I was going crazy, or crazier. She's got a tuff draw to start with Iris. I hope she wins a few matches. Sixteen hour drive for 2 and out and I wouldn't want to be around her. Johnnyt

Could have been Asia Cycak replacement?
 
Line Kjorsvik just beat Susan Mello 9-4. Neither of them played any good, and it was difficult to break good and get balls.

I know there were a few spots left open.. I turned one down also, just like Asia, Nicole Albergaria, Liz Taylor, and a few others.... I think some of the girls on the East Coast didn't want to travel the 6 and a half hour flight to get to Oregon and then a 3 hour drive to the casino. (that was my issue).. Erica

You forgot to add that the drive is generally at midnite on backroads through a forest,fog and rain.
