I need a new rack for my table. What is considered the best wooden rack, and who has one they want to sell? I don't need a Sardo, just a well made wooden rack that actually racks the balls tight! (I can't believe how many crappy ones are being sold out there that will leave huge gaps between the balls!)

i asked this question about a year ago & got absolutely no help. If you happen to find one, pm me...cause i'm still looking too.

The most nicely built & best looking wooden rack (I've used) is the Diamond. You'll pay $$$ for it too.

Club rack

You might check out the Club Rack @ BCI website. They say its the official rack for the US open this year. It's selling for 39.99 Don:cool:

Wood Warps with time, the best racks today are made out of hard composite materials. They cost around $10, they will rack the balls tight, and never lose their shape.

i Like the diamond rack

The diamond rack is the best wooden rack i have ever used. Unless you toss it in the pool to save some ones life and then leave it sit in the sun, i wouldnt worry about warping. I have had mine for 7 years.

Theres a notch in the middle of the back part so you can keep it in line with the front ball or that line people draw from the spot to the back rail to keep the balls straight.

Diamond racks are excellent. They make a Cocobolo rack that's about $100. It's sweet.

Here is my favorite it sells for $29.99 in the dallas area. They have them at The Billiards Den and at B & S Billiards. I have posted links to both of them but I don't think that they are listed on their sites yet. I am sure that you could call.
