WWYD - 9 Ball ghost

Right after I made the first post, I put doughnuts under the balls and was going to try a bunch of options. I really thought the angle from the 2 to get on the 3 lended itself to get behind the 4, so I went that route. I got really good on it on the first try. I might try the other options tomorrow since I still have the doughnuts set up.

First of all, your music sucks :D.

Second, you shot it the same way I would have tried it. You hit it better than I would have though...

This was my fisrt option. Next choice: bank.:)
Easy to get such angle to three one can get natural roll position to 4-ball.

I think you have to take what the table gives you on this layout and not force it. If you get the angle to drop behind you play for that. If you end up center table you likely will end up playing a combo. Too far on the side rail the ball will be too hot and you're going to play the break out.

I'd put the cue ball above the 4 close to the long rail and cut the 4 into the corner.

I'd play natural shape on the four.
Pocket 3ball bottom right, send CB off bottom rail up between long rail and 6ball.
As soon as CB crosses headstring you have a shot at 4ball in the side.
If CB rolls further, you have a shot at 4ball into bottom right pocket.
Big margin of error playing it this way.

I would probably miss the 1 ball because im trying to get too perfect on the 2 for the spot that leads to the break out off the 3.

It's hard to be sure from the picture but the OP said: "The only pocket the 4 goes into is the opposite side". If you do roll too far you can stick your opponent on the back of the six except your opponent is the ghost.

If I have to run out, my plan A is going to be the bank. Adjust according to the position on the 3.

I gave it a go

Shot. 1 straight in and left cb on line between 1&2. Shot 2 1 rail into

Overhit shape on 3, but not feeling too bad, coz Jason set combo is on.

Combo is in alright. Straight into rail. You have to cut the 4 dramTically to play it.

Dizzy yet?

6 was going in, but cb went to side rail and double kissed 6.

The 4 had a lot of travel too. Not sure I woulda had a good shot at it. Had 1 eye closed.

I would still try to break the 4/6 off th 3...2 rails, preferably.

I woulda like ta drew/drawed/ drid it a foot more.

That doesn't help getting on the 4 though. I think it is moving 2+ft. And hitting it that easy throws that 4 away from ye olde hole too.
