Cyber-I E D s, Cyber-Grenades & Cyber-Terroists

Now really why would a cuemaker avoid this forum with hundereds of potential customers because of threads where other cuemakers get called out for bad business practices? If it's because they are afraid they are going to get called out because of THEIR bad business practices then we don't want them here anyway. That's the whole point of deterring crooks n flakes.
This post isn't to admonish those who feel the need to complain about life's injustices because everyone has that right. It is what our forefathers fought for and one of the principles that our country was founded on. Legitimate complaints are just and should be aired here amongst those who might be inclined to provide sound ideas for resolution or simple discussion.
It with reluctant resignation that I have come to the thinking that this forum is a poor choice of places for any professional poolplayer or cuemaker to spend time at unless they happen to be wordsmiths and enjoy one-upsmanship on a billiard forum, where newbies, vultures-laying-in-wait and s**t-stirrers get their sadistic pleasure from torturing another human being with words.
Complaints are not always designed for sadistic pleasure and
I'm positive that many are truly justified.
This forum is the best forum on earth and it can be even better but I think it will never be a place where professional poolplayers and cuemakers can come and chat on a regular basis as there are too many people laying in wait for an opportunity to pounce on them for whatever reason.
For these two groups of people, unless they are wordsmiths who enjoy a good bark fest, they should drop in to say hi to their fans and thank them, then boogie on back to the practice table as some people can't wait for the opportunity to shoot at a slow moving, unsuspecting target.
No amount of policing can stop the sniper on a forum. The sniper is camoflauged and his weapon is locked and loaded only waiting for his prey to appear. Even if he misses a kill shot, the collateral damage is severe. Even if the sniper is banned, the grist for his mill has already been separated and the grind continues long after the banned sniper is forced from the forum.
Even if a player or cuemaker is a capable wordsmith, a billiard forum is like a minefield and every now and then even the most careful will walk into waiting Cyber-IEDs planted by Cyber-terroists with injury and destruction on their mind.
Cuemakers and professional poolplayers, be smart, visit often, don't stay long; tell us you are happy and you appreciate us and your fans, never argue or try to justify your position, simply say hello and wave to us with a smile then disappear into cyber-space as quickly as you arrived. This is for your safety and your sanity as this is a difficult place to navigate without picking up unnecessary injury.
Your respective professions have enough obstacles to overcome without adding another.
Best Regards and with reluctant resignation,
JoeyA
