I'm glad to see you finally answer the question the thread asked for. Glad to hear your Zinzola is perfect. I'm sure you have perfect cues from other builders also. Have I lied in any way about the cues I saw in VF? NO! I'll answer that for you.
I saw a lot of great cues in VF and will talk about them if a thread asks.

You've been the bully on this thread and it's your choice to bully in the future. I will post my thoughts and will not be influenced by your negative feeling toward them. After reading this thread a couple times I think calling me a basher is harsh and out of line. You have went out of your way to discredit my opinion because I'm a builder.

If you want to continue this we should talk on the phone or through PM's. I'd like you to explain why my opinion doesn't count and I bet others are sick of reading our conversation.

Everyone watch out when giving opinions in forums where they are asked, the AZ nazis will come out in full! Tony seems like a nice guy and if he has only been building cues for about 2 years, there is no way he is an expert. It does sound like he really enjoys making them so hopefully he will continue to improve, and continue to make cues for people that play pool...kind of what making cues is for right besides maybe a hobby, a second job, or personal satisfaction? As for the arguments on here between multiple people...hopefully we can squash it and get back to what the thread was intended for.

Glad to hear your Zinzola is perfect.

You've been the bully on this thread

Please stop putting words in my mouth Scott... that is what got this whole thing started anyway... people misrepresenting the facts. I said the wrap was perfect...

Bully... give me a break, I have never bullyed anyone in my life.

I do not have a single Zinzola for sale... so those of you who thought I chimed in to "hype" a cue can relax now. I do not sell cues for a living, I do it for the love of the craft. If I had to rely on selling cues to support my family I would be in deep doo doo.

Two things bugged me here... people misrepresenting the facts, and Scott's comments as a fellow builder....that's it. I am done with this for good. The people here that know me well know I rarely get involved in this type of banter, and I now have a better understanding of why I don't.

God speed...

ps - Scott - feel free to call me anytime, my number is on the banner below.

It is absolutely shows poor taste for one cuemaker to critique another cuemakers work on this forum. Always has, always will.

Let me think of a couple of words that come to mind: insecurity, jealosy.

There are very few cues on this planet that are absolutely perfect. I have seen one of Mr. Gracio's cues myself. Was it nice?..............Yes. Was it perfect?................I don't think so.

Tony's stuff has come light years in a short period of time. He continues to get better and better. He best stuff is yet to come.

He has gotten a lot of exposure on this site and deservedly so.

All you people that do nothing but get on this forum to bash someone who is trying to do nothing more than improve his cuemaking skills and make a living for his family, need to get a life.

I'm goin' to get bashed myself for this post. Bring it. I get fed up with this forum when it comes to all of these absolutely perfect people downgrading someone elses work.

Jimmy, good post. I would have to agree with most of it, but not not completely with the last phrase.

" I get fed up with this forum when it comes to all of these absolutely perfect people downgrading someone elses work."

While some people do have a tendency to be negative repeatedly or bash/downgrade someones work like you said, I do think that some people have valid opinions even if they are negative or appear that way. While negative opinions by fellow AZers may seem harsh to the cuemaker, would the cuemaker prefer all opinions on his cues to be positive even if they are lying? This is just one way for him to maybe improve. Of course things can go to far with comments or may get too down and dirty (lets not go there), but not everyone is going to call the cuemaker and say hey I noticed this on your cue, you might want to try this instead etc... maybe they should, but a thread like may help a cuemaker in the future more then hurt him as long as the negative posts are limited to about the cues and not getting too personal which tends to happen a lot on here. Mr. Gracio's comments here are some of the realest I've heard here in a long time, and I definitely appreciate them. What is the point of a forum if everybody is going to play nicey-nice and just agree with topics?

I definitely appreciate his insightful and honest comments and I would like to see more useful commentary like that in the future on these forums.

I too think Zinzola's cues look great but there is room for improvement in the already mentioned areas.

I'm a guitar player, have been all my life. I'd rather hear the opinion of a guitar player than a person who enjoys music about how I play, technique, gear, tone, etc. etc.

Why, you ask?

They know more about the "intangibles" that you learn from hard work and time, nothing else. You can't be coddled to perfection. What if Tony progresses as a cuemaker because another builder brought something important up? I think thats fair to Tony beyond a doubt and is the responsibility of those with knowledge. Maybe Scott could have worded his opinion better.

Maybe if the thread was called "Zinzola Cues Price Opinion" or "Are Zinzola Cues Pleasing To Look At?" then Scott would be a little weird posting an opinion about construction, other than that, chill out folks.

Devestatingly awesome. Combine that with some Pete Townshend sawmilling and Angus Young power knee-sliding and you are garunteed to melt the faces off the front row. Use with caution.

It's not what you say but How you say it.......

I thought Tony's cues looked great. I have not played with one yet, but am considering ordering one as well. Now if my main water pipe didn't break yesterday, then I would have an additional $6k to spend on something.

I have two Zinzolas and one is my Daily Player, this Cue rocks.
3 Cues more in Order, that is what I have to say about this Thread.
