Lowest deflection kielwood

the sound comes after the ball is gone so it doesn't matter. why would it bother you. if you saw my golf clubs and the balls i use you would certainly want to raise the bet.
i had some junk stick that sounded like it was cracked and hit fine and my opponents couldn't make a ball as it bothered them so much.
never had trouble getting action with that stick. i don't remember what happened to it. i must have left it someplace.
It's a personal thing. I wouldn't have known about it if gasczar didn't mention it. it resembles a sound when one of my cue shaft gets loose during play.

Peanutbutter... Mystery Cue...

So this cue came to me in a collection of Titlist conversions that included a Palmer 2nd catalog cue, a Scott Gracio conversion and either a late date Rambow or a very early Balabushka ebony Titlist conversion (with Pete Sr. now, wish me luck).

This one is a bit of a peanut butter and chocolate cue, it has lots of nice features, but nothing that screams any one maker to me. Great six-point three veneer design, purple heart and rosewood construction, windows on the butt sleeve, flat-faced phenolic 3/8-10 joint.

No signatures, and no one feature that screams any one maker or another, sadly. There are some little design elements that seem Spain-like to me, but I know his thing was pin in shaft and this is not that...

So what says you great AZB hive mind, what do I have here....

And now the pictures!

Please, for the love of God, stop snowing!

You must be related to me, cause all of my family except my immediate family booked it south!

Everyone on my dad's side went to Arizona, a lot on my mom's side went back to Mississippi, and I know a few cousins ended up in Florida I believe.

I'm like my dad. As much as the cold and snow sucks, there's too much to love about Wisconsin and Milwaukee in general for me to ever want to move. My dad was born and will die in the same city, and I plan on doing the same too. For a state with not too many reasons to like it, we just couldn't imagine living anywhere else. It's a weird thing.

I actually think it makes sense. I have relatives on both sides of the family in various spots in the Midwest. Most of the Chicago contingent moved. The Elkhorn resident got out of Chicagoland a while ago. My other Wisconsin relatives like it I think. By moving we got disconnected from family on both sides. Not that I wish we stayed in Chicago when I was little. But there is something to be said for staying somewhere and not leaving because of weather and such. I tend to like the Midwest although I haven’t spent a winter as an adult there. So yes, you could move but I get why you wouldn’t.

In defense of Chicago, I did have a superdawg and played 3C at Chris’s the one afternoon I spent there my last trip.

Wow, you've gotta be the most defensive poster on this forum. How in the world would I know that you've barely played in 10 years? You're not that important.

I don't know what 600 FR means? Lol. Apparently it means you can run a 7-pack on 3 different occasions, according to you. Can anyone vouch for that?

It's like I'm talking to a disgruntled man-child.
Are you part parrot or do you have any original thoughts? Did i not tell you more than once I play once or twice a year? Did you not say a fargo 600 was a beginner? You know absolutely nothing but wanna keep on yapping. If you'd just shut up, eventually people will forget you are ignorant about all things pool.

Choice is yours.

If I had to bet...

What's not to love?! 👍

tip technology - hardness at center different from hardness at edges

I think you could do that with a fairly simple attachment to a Dremel tool.

I don't have any problem trimming and smoothing with a sharp knife and sand paper. Here's a video:

I was considering a dremel for convenience but then a dremel is quite expensive just for that purpose. if I was a handyman and doing a lot of work, I would have no problem purchasing one. having said that, let me look at the used market.

Similar. but what I was envisioning would automatically adjust size to your shaft and you wouldn't have to rotate it, you would just push the handle down and it would auto adjust and rotate cutting the tip close to the diameter of the shaft.

Derby City Newbie (be gentle)

Thats going to be tough. I am assuming it will be an open break?
Break as you want, then take cue ball in hand, according to the info above. I assume you have to declare your pocket before the break.

The original message was on the PoolActionTV FaceBook page. The whole announcement is above. There are several important rules details that are not mentioned. Hopefully, they will have a full rule set at the event.
