Chalk Habits and A Doozy of an AccuStats

Do you know WHY he and other good players do this? Some might be placing it randomly and I only notice when it’s inverted, but I swear some are doing it on purpose.

My only theory is they are trying to get rid of loose chalk in the cube. Like if they grew up playing with crumbling chalk or something.
It is simply because the position of the chalk in the hand. To place it face up, you have to reposition the chalk with a slight rotation. In Efren’s case, he has a unique chalking style where he sort of cups the chalk. Sometimes, he would to really have to spin the chalk to put it face up.

Savannah “The RoadRunner” Easton using a wood shaft?

EXACTLY. These threads about what pros use or god-forbid 'those that stick to wood' queries are beyond tired. Look folks, all these top players could run out with a bar cue. They get EVERYTHING free and in most(ALL??) cases they are gettin jellied for using the: cue/shaft/chalk/glove/case you see them with. Same thing with golf: DO NOT base your equip. choice(s) on what some pro uses.
I don't care what they use in term of performance, I don't think that getting the same cue will make me better.
I am interested in some cues that pros used but mainly as an general interest in knowing, especially if it's a good looking cue, this comes from a point of a cue lover and not as a player.
