Love that burl!!!

Longer cue for big tables?

I'm a big fella and I love 60" cues. It feels a little silly that people think me with my 77" wingspan and The Lion should play with the same sized cue.
This is very helpful. I'm not especially tall but I have unusually long arms. I find on larger tables, shots toward the middle of the table should be reachable without needing my non bridge hand to be over the table, but with a short cue it feels like my arm gets stuck between the table and my body. With a longer cue my non bridge hand can stay outside the perimeter of the table and work freely. This situation doesn't come up as much on bar boxes, but I'd probably be more comfortable with a longer cue there as well.

Buddy Hall vs Steve Mizerak, who had the nicer stroke?

must have been a nightmare to play him for money in his prime
I recall the story of Efren's first appearance as Ceasar Morales. Including playing all challenges back to back to back. Buddy was the only one to win a set. 🤷‍♂️
Definitely a smooth stroke and operator as well.
Being from the north wet, I must mention The Hat. He had such a fluid stroke that was ????? 🤔 similar to cracking a whip.

8 Ball Question??

True story...

I played one session of APA years ago without knowing what I was getting myself into.

My first game of 8-ball I was about to make the 8 and the captain screamed for a timeout and explained that I had to "mark" my very obvious pocket.

A bit confused but willing to play along, I pulled out my wallet and placed it next to the pocket. I was told that for some inexplicable reason, neither the wallet or any kind of money was allowed as a marker.

To the horror of half the players there, I replaced my wallet with the small .380 pocket pistol I was carrying and made my shot.

I didn't last long in APA... 😁
How about my drink, can I mark the $#cking pocket with my drink? If not I would use my cue case. 🤣🤣
