Going to try CF, any suggestions?

Being as there doesn't appear to be vast deflection differences between the various manufacturers, I'd be inclined to try either a Rhino Must, or a Raven Pro, and save the extra $$.
Just my opinion.
The cheaper carbons play ok, but the quality is pretty horrible in general. Also the hit and feel seem to be lacking on the ones I have tried. I suppose because you are paying for time and not materials to build these shafts. Very little quality control. Buy a Rhino if you don't shoot much. It will play fine. Kind of like buying that cheap tool because you wont use it very often. Check warranty info. Ask a cue maker what shafts have been coming in the most to get repaired because of failure.

Fiction writers are very imaginative and quite often get it right.
Writers may conceive ideas from imagination plus observation but that's where they stop once they put it on paper. Someone else then takes that imagination and observation, adds innovation and creates a reality.

it's good to be the run-out King

So I have a friend who is ultra competitive. He usually wins our league in wins ,points, average , b-n-r's , ero's. A week ago he is explaining to me that the league operators are changing the way some statistics , like average , is computed. I am listening to him and wondering why he is explaining this to me as he knows I could care less. Then he says we'll guys like you who break them wide open and come out dry so your opponent runs out - that doesn't count against your average. 😀😃😄 Then I realize he is telling me my average is higher then his.🤣

Stay down until the ball enters the pocket
Mark Allen just made an epic recovery er uh steal, In a frame that took over an hour.
His final black had him staying down and motionless Long after the final black dropped. 🤔 things that make you say Hmmmm.
Hmmmm? 4 -6 now at this rate it could take a while.
Mark has taken control and sure looks like the favorite, even when behind. 🤷‍♂️

Help identifying Tim Scruggs year of manufacture if possible

Good morning
I was hoping for some View attachment 901013View attachment 901014help in figuring out when this cue was made
I recently acquired in a trade
I like older Cues in this seem to fit the bill
But I truly don’t have any idea when it may have been made
I’ve included pic of logo and under bumper
Any help would be appreciated
Thank you
I know you're not going to do it, but if it was a custom made cue under the ramp will be all the information including the original owner. Tim would sometimes make a custom cue for a customer that was one of a kind. Except it wasn't, because he would repeat the design in later cues. He once made me cue with dollar signs in it. Later I saw that particular inlay used in other cues of his.
