We've said the same thing for 20 years. There are no juniors coming up that are world class in the USA. Nothing has changed that. Shane was the last American and he burst onto the international scene in 2007. From 2007 until today in 2026, no American junior has come close to Shane as they reached adulthood.

Not only all of that, their bracket finished the day before. So they are waiting around all day to play. Start time delayed because a match went long. Plenty of time to think about what is coming. Seemed like the table wasn't breaking very well. A lot of table layouts were ugly.

I have a 8' Brunswick home table that I bought 6 years ago and I have been thinking about upgrading to a 9' table for a year or so. I struggled with buying a new or close to new table vs an older table and refurbing it. Thanks to this forum, I decided to buy an older table. After months of looking, I found one just outside of Memphis. It is a CGI in pretty bad shape and needs a lot of work. I paid $1,300 for it and brought it home April 18, 2026.

he said conditions were equal. same as flipping heads or tails you cant take an equal situation and make it better for you.

and as far as being up or down after one set it doesnt matter as your gambling results are based on long term. if you use short term to make decisions you will make critical mistakes.

Good move on his opponent's part if he wants to play. I learned a long time ago to try never to let my opponent get back to zero. One reason I let them raise the bet, with the right timing they can never get to zero. Winning or losing they have incentive to keep playing, something about being back to zero, the most likely time for people to quit on you, well second most likely. Most likely is when you bust them!(grin)
